God! what heve i done to deserve this???
 

what did i ask for?!? i haven't seen FM for 6 years! i earned (almost all) the money, fair and square. i didn't leave the country in over a year now, and hell, i DESERVE this! so how come that in the last 3 days

-my flight got cancelled
-i found another, but only at 6am and via Paris and more expensive.
-i lost my passport and suffered a mild heart attack before eventually finding it after a 2 hour nightmare.
-discovered that my Blondie ticket for wednesday hasn't arrived yet.
-opened the TV to realize in horror that the (single) international airport is on a general strike since noon!

WHY??????
i'm stressed as s***t as it is!
i've still nothing arranged or packed for tuesday morning.
after listening to The Wild Heart once, and a HUGE ganja i smoked all by myself, i'm STILL finding myself at a state of total panic!

As far as the Blondie ticket, call the ticketing agency and explain that you are traveling for the show and your ticket has not arrived. Ask them if they can leave your ticket at will call. Is there another airport that you can drive to and fly out of? Good luck.

thanks (and thanks to you too mmm stevie nick) the ticket was supposed to arrive to my london addy! if it doesn't arrive there tomorrow i'd have to take immediate actions!
about the airport, no, we have a single international airport here(keep in mind that my country's size is about the size of New Jersey), i could go by car to Cairo or Amman, but i'm afraid even stevie nicks can't make me do that nowdays.
still, they say in the news that the strike is likely to end tonight, so there's still hope! :cool:

I really hope everything gets straightened out, Tommer, and that by the time of the concert, all of this frustration is just a memory.

i'm sure everything's gonna work out EVENTUALLY, i just wish it wasn't that stressing along the way. :distress:
i keep telling myself that whatever happens, i'll be right in front of tha stevie nicks on saturday, and the more i think of it, the more i don't give a damn bout what happens till then.:cool:

I've got my fingers crossed for you too. I know how easy it is to get stressed out about possibly missing your favorite band perform. I must have given myself an ulcer driving to the Reno concert earlier this year because there was so much traffic I thought for sure I was going to miss it. I didn't even stop to pee even though I was ready to wet myself. Fortunately I made it just in the nick of time.

I wasn't sure I would get to go to a show at all this year, but some awesome forces really seem to be at work where our enchanted band is concerned!!!
