OT (sorry Johnny Stew) - but I just wanted to share
 

Well, I guess I called it. Remember when I told you guys all about us adopting our 3 "new" kids? Who, by the way, are coming here for a 4-day weekend stay this weekend, and then next weekend will probably be placed here forever (Yay!). Everyone here is so excited (and apparently our "new" kids are too).

ANYWAY, if you remember, after telling you all about everything, I uttered some, apparently prophetic, words. I believe it was something along the lines of: "You know what will happen next, right? I will get pregnant. With twins."

Well...

I'm pregnant!!!

No way to know yet if it is twins, though. ;) Hehehe, I still can hardly believe it. I mean, I have SUCH difficulty getting pregnant anyway, and here we are getting these kids and now I am pregnant. God must have had a hand in this one for sure.

We are keeping things under wraps here for a while until things are more settled, though, with everything. We won't even be telling our kids or extended family until at least Thanksgiving (for one reason, because so many people already think we're crazy for adopting 3 more, bringing our total to 6. Imagine what they'd have to say now! But WE DON'T CARE - we are thrilled!). So I've been just busting to tell SOMEONE, and I thought of you all! You can all keep a secret, right? ;)

And can I just tell you - for expecting my (*technically*) SEVENTH child, I look just FABULOUS!!! :laugh: :nod:

Back into lurkerdome I go. And if I thought I'd be lurking BEFORE, well, I think I've just cemented that one in! Anyway, just wanted to update you all! Have a good week, everyone!!

That's fantastic news! I remember your mentioning to me awhile back one of your kids was having trouble in school? I'm so glad to hear the problems are being cleared up!

You're pregnant! Congratulations! Of course, you knew it would happen sooner or later!

It was heartbreaking. But look how beautifully it has turned out -- your faith in Jesus Christ held & Jesus cast His light & His love upon you!

Don't you know it! I haven't told ANYONE -- except some of my co-workers, who are eager to hear how the pregnancy is progressing!

Well, you always did look like a million bucks, as I told you a couple of times in the past. Hehheh!
