Well, if a Stevie song is always going to win these things, then I guess it's good it was that one. It's her best song on the album imo.

I can't tell you how sick I am of the whinning, like there is some conspiracy against Lindsey and everyone just blindly votes for Stevie songs. It Didn't work that way. The Lindsey songs got voted off becuase people liked MOST of his songs less. I myself was upset when WTWCT, and Come left, but heh it happened, alot of people disliked them. TOO BAD. It just happened to be more Stevie songs left in the end. BIG FREAKING DEAL.

Obviously it’s easier to arrive to a compromise by choosing the less intense songs on the album. So Lindsey inevitably suffered. Most people obviously don’t want Stevie to do rave-ups like “Sisters Of The Moon” on stage or on the albums anymore, because they chose something that’s quite Gypsy-like. Not that I object, I love this just as much as “EFO” and “RTTG”.
Of course it does bother me that people dislike “Murrow” and “Red Rover” for instance. In songs like these there might be something that rubs the listener the wrong way. If something bothers me in a song, I just try to listen to it later with fresh ears and usually I get over the problem, if the song’s good itself. If you dislike something, you should at least try to see some value in the work the artist put into the song. Lindsey didn’t exactly create these in two hours or something. ;)

The more I listen to this the more I think Miranda should have at least made the final two. :)
