front row?

I am trying desperately to find front row or 2 row to the DC show. Someone told me that ticketmaster sometimes relases these seats just days before or day of the show. I tried checking hundreds of times online with ticketmaster the last four days of philly show and had NO luck at all. So now i am praying for these seats to dc. I am short and had trouble seeing in row 9 and really want up front. Anyway those of you who got lucky where did you find these good seats? Am i looking in the wrong place? Would i have better luck calling TM the day of the show or do these show up online too? Anyway i know others are getting lucky--maybe i just have unlucky, bad timing. But if anyone can offer any suggestions for getting decent priced tickets thanks! Lindsay

From the time I first checked

which was during the presale--until the time I finally bought my Philly tickets--I must have checked hundreds of times.
It really is a combination of patience and luck. I think you just have to wait it out and then the last few days before the concert--check as often as you possibly can.
I know up until about five minutes before I found the first row seats, I was still getting the same crappy seats I had been looking at for the last 2 months. I was so shocked to see first row, I almost automatically reloaded the page because I was so used to doing that.
Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion! I will stay on the computer the next few days and hopefully have the same luck as you! Oh and that would be my bad luck--to finally get the seats and accidentlly reload the page and lose the seats:eek: Oh my god--wouldn't you die! What sucked about the philly show is that i practically "lived" on the computer for days before the philly show and when i left my house to go out and eat someone actually ended up finding row 2 seats the morning of the show! i was SOOOO upset after working so hard! I guess i have bad timing...or bad luck one! Anyway THank you and i will keep trying for the dc show Lins

Yeah we are looking for DC seats too.... unfortunately there hasn't been a "rollout" yet.... be patient, it will probably happen tomorrow or Wednesday I'm guessing!

Good luck!

I've been checking TM every chance I get for the MSG show...no luck yet. :distress: But I'm taking my chances and going to drag it to the wire, I guess - I want really good seats!

Good luck to you - check out this board as well, as so many here are looking and posting as soon as they spot good tickets!

Thank you all for the good luck!

Stupid question probably: But, when checking Ticketmaster do i only need to check during the day from like 8am-7:00pm or can things pop up late at night as well? Obviously, i am very new at this and not sure how this works! Thanks for all the pointers guys! I REALLY want these tickets ...................Lins

Hi Linds,
My best advice is what everyone else said... keep trying! You never know when a seat could be released. I got a 2nd row to the LA Staples show day-of (morning-of), and I know WelshWitchPMD had the same luck for both LA shows. I did get a San Diego ticket, thought it was a score at 19th row, but LOL, other seats closer to the stage were released closer to the show date. Just that chance you have to take sometimes. Good luck!
