Look farther down the board, someone posted that they had tickets for Bridgeport for sale. Maybe they're still available.

Did you try looking online at some of the chain hotels, they often have a list stating how far away they're located from major attractions and arenas are often listed. I believe some people on Mick's site said they were staying at the Ramada Inn so you can check out how far away that is from the venue.

HTH!

I also remember that Pattie said she bought an additional ticket and had one to get rid of.

Hope you get something!

As far as hotels go:

Holiday Inn
1070 Main Street
Bridgeport Ct

I believe it is very close to the Arena...probably within walking distance..and a minute cab ride.:)

The Arena is at 600 Main St.

...so yeah, that's pretty close.

;)

any other hotels in bridgeport of nearby?

i heard that bridgeport is not the safest of cities. i'm not sure if this is true.
are there any fun things to do nearby? i'll be driving down for the weekend.

I called the holiday inn.

here are some things you can do in bridgeport:

beardsley zoo

barnum museum

discovery museum

seaside park.

norwalk is 20 minutes away. in norwalk there is a great stepping stone museum.

While not the most scenic of places and certainly not the best...it's not the worst either.

I think you will be safe at the Holiday Inn. It really isn't that far from the Arena and if you go from the Arena back to the hotel, you'll be fine.

I've been to Beardsley Zoo quite a few times and just recently took my son there this summer...It costs about $7 for adults and children 4 and under are FREE...so you'll just make it under the wire there:) ...It's a cute way to spend the afternoon...the animals are pretty close to you...you get to see your standard wolves...My son called the Timberwolf...Justin...Get it!! Justin Timberwolf:laugh: ANYWHO...there's also tigers, bears, deer and the like...a small rainforest exhibit which was kinda cool (nothing like the Rainforest exhibit in Central Park which I love)...and they have a beautiful carousel for the kiddies too!!

The Barnum Museum and Discovery Museum is more hands on stuff...Kids are free at Barnum (I believe) and a small fee for kids applies at Discovery.

I believe Seaside Park/Captain's Cove is the same thing...Maybe other fellow CT Ledgies can help me on this...there is some historical boat there...shops and resturants...craft shops and a boardwalk.

Norwalk IS 20 minutes away and they have the Maritime Aquarium there...it's a bit more pricier than the zoo...but still a fun time...they have sharks and seals and otters and all that kinda stuff...Interactive and hands-on demos and stuff.

Hope you have a wonderful time!!!:)

I live near New Haven so I am able to catch the last train back after the show so I won't need to stay over.
I doubt Bridgeport is a place where the Mac would hang out prior to or after the show.
