Tips for getting autographs

I will be attending my first FM concert ever in a couple of weeks (I'm really nervous). I have floor seats (aisle 1&2), but am about 15 rows back. What are my chances of getting an autograph? I plan on making a mad dash to the front with my tourbook and sharpie at all cost. I have never been to a concert in which seats are assigned, so what are my chances? Is this possible only for those who have front row seats? Can you fortunate Ledgies give me insight as to the opportunities available to get an autograph during the show? Thanks in advance.

It really depends on the security at the venue. Most venues on this tour seem to let only the folks in the first few rows approach the stage.

I noticed you're from south Texas. Are you going to the SA or Houston shows? I'll be at both!

I've got tickets to the San Antonio concert. You are lucky to be going to both!

Shangrila,
I'm not sure about row 15. I got an autograph from Lindsey in Chicago at the United Center. I was in row 5. I purposely got seats which were suppose to be on an aisle, but when I got there the first 5 rows were continuous, NO aisles. I had a Law and Order LP, which I think Lindsey got a kick out of. I waited til he wasn't too busy (sort of a tough order, did it during Stand Back) and showed it to him and asked him to sign, he said sure later (it was sort of like charades). Because of the no aisle, I couldn't get right to the stage so trusted a couple people to pass it up. He signed it on his way out after the encore and a very nice guy grabbed it quick and made sure he put it back in my hands (whoever you were you are a sweetheart, wish I could have really thanked you!). You know there has been such fantastic concert karma at every show I have been to, I think you could probably trust people.
