Awesome News!!

Lindsey told the owner of his official site www.lindseybuckingham.com that he is considering putting Red Rover in the setlist!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE GOD!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Matt (StreetDreamer) for this info!

gypsysara 09-16-2003 06:53 PM

My vote - remove So Afraid, add Red Rover!

Merf 09-16-2003 07:25 PM

That would be my vote too... I love I'm So Afraid but seeing Red Rover live would be VERY cool since it's new:)

Gazza 09-17-2003 02:15 AM

My vote... Get rid of one of Stevies songs and do Red Rover :D

Removing I'm So Afraid! I'm getting ready to see this live for the first time, and if he does, there will be hell to pay!

~Thanks Christy!~

OH MY GOD - awesome awesome news.
I'm so happy we're gonna get a somewhat revised setlist for the Australian Tour.

I can't wait to hear Red Rover live...

But why not Murrow???? ...... :( :( It would rock the casbah.

shackin'up 09-17-2003 05:51 AM

I think he'll drop WTWCT.
My choice would be Gypsy or Dreams.
I hope he'll just add it!!!!!

strandinthewind 09-17-2003 10:40 AM

Considering Stevie is signing only "standards" that the clear majority of the people insist on hearing, I seriously doubt they will remove any of them. But, you never know.

I say ax Come (its run its race IMHO), World Turning (see ya Mick), and WTWCT (run its race) and do Red Rover, Murrow, and Save Me a Place. The two voices on these would be just incredible!!!!!

My $0.02

I dont want them to remove anything..just add red rover str8 up.

I wana hear them do I cant wait (a kinda fm version) wud be cool. Its impossible, but it wud be so cool to have several drummers all with their own drumkits to recreate that "complex polyrhythm" drum beat-box sound on the RAL version lol.

Although I'm not a Red Rover fan, I'd LOVE to hear it live! Anything new is welcomed by me, even Silver Girl. I'd love to go to a concert and find a new respect for Red Rover. :D

However, I would sell my first child to hear Murrow live...

Well, they've GOT three "drummer/percussionists" in tow this tour...Stevie did it during her Rock A Little tour with TWO. So, it is definitely NOT impossible...just highly improbable...especially that they'd include a second Stevie solo tune in the set.

Sharon, your post has me

But I kinda enjoy hearing Stevie picking up Christine's parts on Dont Stop. I do agree though they should AX it and do Red Rover instead!

My Request

I Know I'm Not Wrong would rule!

xdreamsunwindx 09-17-2003 11:04 PM

Ahem...

I would be oh so happy if they ended with Crystal instead of Goodbye Baby, because that song makes me cry, and it takes alot to make me cry. Crystal is perfection, anyway. Axe Never Going Back Again for Murrow or EFO, and add I Don't Want to Know in there somewhere, *possibly* after Second Hand News. Of course they might have to move things around a bit, but I won't mind. *goes off to type up dream setlist*

snooperpooper 09-17-2003 11:54 PM

Actually "Sisters of the Moon" would totally & completely rule - especially if Lindsey played it as insanely as he did on the old Making of Tusk video. Does anyone have the complete, unedited version of that?
