Goodbye Angel lyrics

Since Goodbye Angel is one of my fave Lindsey songs and I am a lyrics freak, please give your input on what these 2 lines are. They've driven me crazy for years, and I just can't get them! It's the first 2 lines of the "chorus":

________________________
________________________
What could I do, my cup was full
Goodbye angel

Also~
What is everyone's take on what they sing as a group at the end?

________________________
Just let it roll(??)

THANKS!

In the chorus, Lindsey sings....

"Love turned to hate, touch turned to pull
What could I do, my cup was full
Goodbye Angel"

And the end, I *think* they're singing something along the lines of....

"Keepin' it rollin'...
Oh baby, just let it roll."

Hope that helps! :)

He's saying he had too much on his plate (or in his cup) when they broke up. It's similar to Stevie saying they weren't able to both work together and BE together at the same time. It was too much to deal with. He was mostly producing the band by then and trying to please everyone else's tastes which differed from his. It was all too much. This was his way of putting it in a song.
