i'm suprised there hasn't been more press about the mac extending their tour so exstensively. What a crazy schedule though, they only have the month of january off so far, then they are tied up till early march, then the shed tour will probably start soon after that!

Does anyone know when the Grammy's are this year. Because I was really hoping they would be performing at the Grammys. And if they're in late February then they get screwed out of yet ANOTHER awards show.

Livia 09-09-2003 02:55 PM

I just checked grammy.com and didn't see anything about exactly when the next awards will be - but they're usually Feb/March.

Historically, only the big nominees are invited to perform - and time will tell who they may be...

Dare I do the trifecta - Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney?????

DEFINIATELY Brisbane and Sydney anyway.

Yeah, they are doing it through Ticketek (not Ticketmaster), and the presale for all those dates is just a week or so away on the 22 September!!

I'll be going to both Brisbane and Sydney.
Y'all send me some front row Lindsey-side vibes! :D

You've had your pre-sale for the UK right, Pip?

I think it's so early for us becuase they will add more dates in Sydney etc depending on demand. The band otherwise has a 10 day straight hiatus over here.

Tickets went on sale pretty early over here and more dates have been added. I think you are right about them checking out the demand.

And if the Mac did perform by chance, I hope they wouldn't do some medley like they did in '98. I know that was kind of forced onto the band by the Grammy people, but I think they'd of done better with just doing "Silver Springs" that year, considering it's popularity at the time.

Grammys Music...

:wavey: Don't you remember Stevie's back
stage interview when Stevie explained
that they wanted to do a whole song but
the Grammy committee said...No, a five
minute medley was all they wanted!
So, that is what we worked out!!! Great
5minutes! Still sad they did not win! :(
