Email I received, re: Rhino Remasters
 

I emailed Rhino Records recently, to see if I could get more information on the "Expanded & Remastered" CDs... release dates, track info, etc.
Well, I finally heard back, and here's what they had to say.... So, basically we're no further ahead than we were before, information-wise, and it looks as if we might be waiting an additional week from the date Amazon.com has listed.

Anyway, just wanted to keep those who are interested, up to date. :)

Hi Johnny,

I just got the same info, so I guess you beat me in posting this. I sent a detailed inquiry asking about bonus tracks and also about the release of the Buckingham Nicks reissue. Plus I asked about the release of the titles FM Live, Mirage and Tango In The Night. Sadly though, no further elaboration from Rhino. It seems as if it still is uncertain whether the 3 titles listed will be released at all on November 4th! I wonder what´s keeping them? Does it have to do with getting the approval from the band members on what extra tracks to be used, expanded artwork, liner notes etc?

I do hope all of these titles will be out a.s.a.p.!!

Thanks for the update, Johnny Stew. It's strange that the Amazon release date might only be tentative. I'll try to be patient.:)

Thanks Johnny, I noticed in the new ICE magazine that they list FM (1975), "Rumours" & "Tusk" as coming out on 10/28 so I'm guessing this change to 11/4 must be very recent as most likely the date change happened after ICE went to press.

At least they WILL come out though, even if it is a further week we have to wait. :)
