I MET JOHN McVIE!!
 

Hey guys,

No sh*t guys. My girlfriend, my twin brother and I were just at Lenox Mall here in Atlanta. I drove up from Orlando to see the show. We were in the Mac computer store and I looked and saw this guy with a penguin tattoo. I thought how odd because I'd seen it before and I looked up and "Oh sh*t-it's JOhn McVie!" So we waited for a minute until he was done looking and asked him for a picture. I told him I liked his tattoo and then I showed him mine from the Greatest Hits album cover, and he said "Wow you are a fan, and you're crazy too!" Then we took a picture with him and told him we were going to the Gwinett show tonight. John goes "OH yeah....yeah the Gwinett show." It was almost like he'd forgotten about it! ANyways...I will post the photo of all of us as soon as I get back in town to develop it.

Well, I must admit, I'd probably lose track of what the arenas were/are called that I'd be playing if I was in a big band (especially since corporations buy them over left and right therefore changing their names quickly all the time etc.) so it probably just took him a second to realize, you know, how like when bands play at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA the bands usually just say "Howyadoin Boston" even though it's not Boston they're playing in (they probably said "Boston" at the Worcester, MA show too huh? (to those who went to those ones)? ...must be where the roadies tell them they're playing or whatever). So maybe if you had just said "we're going to the show tonight" he may have reacted quicker, as strange as it sounds but anyways... great score anyways, I personally don't want to meet any of the FM members but if I was going to meet one, he'd be the one I'd want to meet. :)

That's great! Did you get to talk with him for a little bit? I would hate to meet any of them. I'd probably either want to chew their ear off or i would be so nervous that i wouldn't say anything and then i'd kick myself later! anyway, cool....looking forward to the pic.

Yeah my girlfriend Stephanie goes "And we're in the Mac store too!" And right before John's assistant (?) snapped the shot of us John goes..."Yes we're looking at Mac's!" It was cool. After that was when he made the tattoo comment. I have the pic developed but wont be able to get to a scanner yet. I will post it as soon as I can.

By the way, the Atlanta show was awesome! Stevie and Lindsey were "play" fighting on stage like they were about to duke it out during Tusk. It was phenomenal. Anyways...if I get any other decent pics from the camera I snuck in, I'll post them too.
