Why dont you guys come to the pre-Rumours forum?
 

It seems like I only ever see the same few people over there, and the same topics have been at the top of the page for weeks.

The Rumours forum gets all kinds of traffic, and understandably so, but I expected a lot more in the pre-Rumours forum too. Not that I'm complaining, I'm just surprised there isn't more intermingling, especially since they released more albums in that time period, 5 of which feature Christine McVie's finest work.

Do you not own the older albums? Not interested in them? Don't like them? Or just not interested in talking about them? Just curious. :)

Yeah, same could be said for "post Rumours" too. I'm interested to hear thoughts on this as well. :)

I think the Rumours forum is just where people automatically go for the latest news etc. But I agree that it's saddening to see the same subjects on the pre and post Rumours boards. They're really just side-boards that people visit every now and then to see new topics. I think there is much to be said for the pre-Rumours Mac, and I think Bob Welch's line-ups are kind of ignored. In the words of Peter Green......"oh well" The people that are interested will continue to go and we will wait for the rest to discover the greatness, variety, and talent of all line-ups of the Mac.

I own everything officially released by Mac and love everything. But lindsey's my hero and keeping track of all the things going on on the rumours board and lindseyboard, buck-nicksnet and burnish and neil's board takes a lot of time, i don't even visit stevies side often, nor nicksfix. I also work and have a private life, you know....:laugh: :laugh: :wavey:
