I wonder if she really understands the message of the song. I mean, "real reporting" of the war? Was a word dropped there? was it supposed to be "real time?"

I am going to assume that didn't come out the way she intended.

I know I thought that as well.

I think she refers to that as well as the very obvious attempt to play for ratings and public support for the war because viewers in the beginning had, for lack of a better word, a "bloodlust" for the horrible details and pictures from the killing fields that were caught by the embedded reporters - almost like they were detached enough to think they were playing a twisted video game in real time. I think she refers to the almost glamourization, if you will, of that that embeded reporters seem to give. Does that make sense?

Don't know, Jason. I wish she had explained herself a little more. Well, it probably doesn't matter anyway... Just caught my eye.

"My father has given me that, 'You better check your attitude at the door.' thing, 'And realize how lucky you guys are because this doesn't happen to very many bands that are your age that can come out with a brand new record and do this kind of a tour.' "

This is great. It sounds like Stevie comes from a very grounded family.

Willard: Do you have any favorite restaurants, any favorite places that you might um...?

Stevie: Um...Karen, what was our favorite, our favorite restaurant when we went to Atlanta? This has been almost four years ago... The... (Karen says something in the background) The fried crab, and all the...fried lobster tails...and... We can't think of the name of it. It's been...it has been four years since I...we did that. But, we do love Atlanta, and that is why we're coming back there. And also, you know what, Atlanta's a great audience. It's just a great audience there..just a lot of soul and passion. And...so we, you know, we prefer to go to the cities where we feel that we do well, and that we have fun.

I bet she was talking about a restuarant called Pano and Paul's which had the best fried lobster tail I have ever had in my life. It had a great lemon taste to it. YUM!!!!!! Sadly, I do not think the rest. is still open.

No change in the set list until 2004! That's according to Stevie in the last installment of the interview which is up on burnish.net

But.... They probably will for the US swing of the tour next summer.

Well, I was disappointed to hear that they won't be changing it for the "second leg" shows...but it WAS nice to hear from Stevie that if they do the sheds next year it will "definitely" be changed some.

Nicks was replete with these compliments for Buckingham on Part 3:

Like how Buckingham's getting better and better with his guitar playing....and that he's out of her league "He's one of the guitar masters of our time" she says..........And she's thrilled that he's finally getting the credit he deserves after being in the background so long, doing so much work behind the scenes that no one saw.....

...and that Nicks thinks LB's so incredible when he can play intricate passages on his guitar AND sing at the same time...that's hard, she says (that's what I always posted on this site!-4Buck) ....she admits she could never do that.....that's why she doesn't play her guitar and sing on stage.....

.....and how for the making of SAY YOU WILL, she admitted Buckingham worked twice as hard as Mick, John and her....coming in at 9 in the morning and staying till 10 at night.....whereas the others would arrive about 2pm and leave at 6 or 7 in the evening.....

....how honest and kind Nicks was in giving Buck so much credit....
that's why they're a successful duo on stage, today....
