When is Christine's New album coming out?
 

Is it for sure or just a rumor? And if it is for sure, how much longer will we have to wait? Anyone know anything?

As far as I know, she is still shopping for a label, I think the album is very near to completion, if not complete.

I read on a music news source that the album is to be released sometime next year. I know that doesn't narrow down the release date possiblities that much, but at least we know it's coming. I can't wait for the album myself.

That would be sweet if she did a solo club tour of the states, and played all of her pre Buckingham/Nicks Mac tunes. That would be a hell of a show!

I really don't understand why she's putting out a new solo album, instead of just having worked with FM on SYW. She didn't have to tour. It's not as if that is without precedent. It wouldn't have been a big deal at all. :shrug:

Because they didn't invite her to join them in the studio. The "official" reason was why have her do songs for the album and not tour. That's what Mick said at least. :nod:

Oh wow, I didn't know that she wasn't invited, I had just assumed that it was her choice not to participate. That seems weird to me. They didn't seem to mind that Lindsey didn't tour for Tango.

Yeah but with Lindsey, he made the album giving the impression to everyone that he would tour. It was only after the album was made and the preparations for the tour began, he didn't want to do anything. That's why they were so mad--it's like, don't say you're going to do something and then back out. With Christine, she made her intentions clear and at the beginning and the band said that they couldn't do that.
