This was the first video that I saw from the Mac. I just recentely saw it again and I wondered who the girl is with LB in the video. Does anybody know? Just some actress? Kinda funny, because most of LB's girls are blondes, not brunettes!

I gotta say that Stevie's dancing in the video irritates me to no end - all that skirt swooshing!

Cheri Caspari maybe? I think is a brunette....I don't know...just a guess...

Maybe she is.... naturally! lol But when she was with LB she was blonde (with or without help from Clairol) just like the rest.

Still, now that you mention it, it's interesting that not only Big Love girl but also Slow Dancing Girl and Go Insane Cover girl are all brunettes. But then again LB probably didn't choose those gals.

From what I remember, the girl is just actress, although it caused quite a stir. And why does everyone hate Stevie's dancing? I think it's hilarious and great. She's kind of just like, yeah, I don't do anything in this song, so I'll just swish my skirt around. Funny, at least to me! :laugh:

I think I remember seeing Stevie singing along in the video... if I remember correctly...

I with you on the skirt waving stuff....irritates the hell out of me! Especially in the fast rewind sequence, I can hardly bear to watch it! :distress:

Not only was the skirt swooshing aggravating, but it was an ugly skirt as well and she had bad 80's hair :laugh:

Too right! That has to one of the worst Stevie hair styles ever, with the straight fringe (or bangs in the US) and side pieces...Yuk! It must have taken a whole can of hairspray to get to so poofed up :laugh:

Stevie's hair in that video does make her look like a "Flock of Seagulls Mother" :D

My two brothers were coming in the door when I was watching BIG LOVE, and they want to know who the babe in the video is, too. They think she's hot!

Buckingham makes a handsome, romantic figure in it.

By "the babe in the video" I hope you mean Stevie because that girl who kisses LB is a major skank.

How can you jank on Stevie's hair in that video? lol! Esp. when that other girl's hair is all crunchy and crispy that way? Look at miss Aqua-net brick wall! That girl has the worst Jersey Mall hair I have ever seen!

Now I heard the girl in Big Love was also in Wrong, in the clock scene.

Cheri is in Wrong too, one of the chicks with Lindsey on the bed.

I am not the biggest fan of Big Love. Im sure it was a big deal in 1987 with all those effects, but I don't remember it from back then ( bad year and I was only 10 anyway) but I really love Little Lies SOOOOOOOOOO much better. Thats a far superior video.

NOTHING beats Seven Wonders. I just wonder how they look so happy and close in the latter two but Big Love just seems cold.

I have the making of that video and its...well...boring. Stevie seems to just want to stand there and swish. I think they just did that so when it goes backwards, there is a cool effect.

I agree. That is the sweetest, cheesiest, cutest video they ever did. Maybe there was sense of (at least on LB's part) that it's all going to end soon so I better love these people while I still can. Everyone is so upbeat. And I love when Lindsey's bearhugs Mick while he's playing the drums. Sort of like a goodbye. And of course the S/L stuff in that video is the most adorable of any FM video.

I have commented before on the difference in the vibe between the Seven Wonders and Little Lies videos.

In SW, S&L are playful, smiling, and in LL, they don't even appear in any of the same frames together and you can cut the tension with a knife.

Something happened in between there, but I don't know the time line. I'd love to know which one was filmed first.

Maybe Stevie is miffed because she didn't get to be the girl with Lindsey in the Big Love video, hee hee... That left her with nothing to do but stand there and spaz out with her skirt.

I'd be right pissed about that, too.
