I'm pretty certain that picture was taken for Rolling Stone.. I think it's circa 1992 - around the time of the boxed set. There's an article that goes with it, but I'll have to dig to find it.

i read that when mick was approached by the photographer with the idea of the wedding photo mick said "under one condition~ i get to be the bride"

I have the pic in some kind of RS issue commemorating the photography of the mag. There's a great one of Stevie in it too.

I think the "Heroes..." cover is way more disturbing than that.

There's just something about Mick being almost naked with that kid that irks me. I'm not trying to call him a molester or trying to say that picture is even suggestive but something about it just rubs me the wrong way. Seeing him mostly naked with his boney ribs sticking out and the naked kid....it just grosses me out.

If they really thought that album had music that could make it their biggest seller up to that point, then I really think they should have used something different for the cover.
