Tourbooks finally show up...
The tourbooks finally showed up for the Lubbock, TX show last nite...Kinda took a long time to show doncha think?
Brian j. |
Okay, so what do they look like? (if you know...)
|
Where can we get them online?
|
Yes...PLEASE Brian (anyone)...give us more details...do you have a copy? Does anyone have scans? Did Chris Nicks have anything to do with it (God I hope not)...PLEASE...we're all dying to know...

Nothing on Ebay yet. They should show up there eventually.

I don't have a scanner, but I'll give you the specs.
Price: $20.00 Pages: About 25/26 Other: It's full-color and really worth the money. The cover has the four of them on it. Here, I'll just do it by page: Cover: Each of the members are displayed in a corner and the words "Say You Will Tour" are displayed in white text above the even larger red "Fleetwood Mac" (Black is the theme here) Page 1,2 - On both these pages each page is divided in half and features pictures of each of the members. STEVIE LOOKS GREAT! And trust me, this should mean a lot coming from a 16 year old. Page 3,4 - Page 3 is just another page divided into four frams displaying parts of those face displays that can be found inside the Limited Edition SYW set. Page four starts a article called "The Opening Act" by David Wild. Page 5,6 - TOA is continued... Page 7,8 - 7 is the continuation of TOA by David Wild... Page 8 is a collage of the band members and features great pics of all the members. Page 9, 10 - 9 is another collage of cool pics. 10 is the conclusion of TOA. Page 11,12 - 11 is a huge pic of Mick playing the drums. 12 begins the "Q&A with the band," and a pic of Mick. Pages 13,14 - 13 is the continuation of the Q&A and a pic of Lindsey. 14 is a pic of Lindsey playing his guitar. Pages 15,16 - 15 is a VERY AWESOME pic of Stevie holding up her dress by her ribbon-filled mic. 16 is the continuation of the Q&A with a pic of Stevie. Pages 17,18 - 17 is the Q&A with a pic of John. 18 is a pic of John. Pages 19,20 - 19 is a full-page pic of the band (I think fixing to bow) that is also in a smaller version on the back of the book. 20 has 2 pics of the stage. One of them looks as if it was taken during a rehearsal. Pages 21,22 - 21 is a collage of them during rehearsals. One of them is the same as one of the ones on page 20. 22 is a has pictures of Neale Heywood, Carlos Rios, Taku Hirano, Brett Tuggle, Mindy Stein and Sharon Celani. Pages 23,24 - this is a discography section with a weird pic of the 1980 "Live" release with a bird looking directly at you. If features the pics, names, and years of all the albums since 1968's Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. Pages 25,26 - 25 is a promotion for www.fleetwoodmac.com and this stuff must be on the high-speed version cause I haven't seen some of it. 26 lists th band credits and the crew credits. (And as far as I can see, Chris Nicks had nothing to do with it.) The back is a smaller version of the full-page pic on page 19. I hope this helps, and I would be willing to answer any further questions about it. :) P.S. I had the time of my life in Lubbock! :) |

Seriously, thanks for the details. If the promotions people had half a brain they would have publicized the tourbooks coming to Lubbock BEFORE people went to the concert. With all the stupid updates the fan club sends out, you'd think they might have mentioned this at least the afternoon before the show. - Jake |
Yea!!!! A tourbook!!!!:] :]
|
Yay for tourbooks!
|
mixed feelings..
Its amazing how the tourbooks come out NOW as the highest number of fans have been to the concerts already in the US. For those of us who can only make it to a couple of shows, like myself, will be hoping that they are offered on the official website which I will be forced to buy from.
Thanks for the detailed description.... :) Tamara :wavey: |
I am glad the tour books are finally out, but, someone will exploit this and make a killing off them on Ebay, as usual.
|
Thanks very much for that detailed description Jason T. ! I'm looking forward to getting one when they come to the UK. (Hopefully they'll sell them here aswell!)
