1978 bootleg concert
 

I acquired a tape years ago from a 1978 show....anyway, i don't know the locale or exact date and i'd like to know....here's a major clue: during the intro to "Rhiannon" Stevie says "...and we sing for the birds of Rhiannon...." and then she begins the song.

Does anyone know where this is from? I thought it might be Dallas but not sure....

The Dallas (Cotton Bowl) recording of "Rhiannon" cuts off before the end, if that helps you any in terms of remembering more.

I just checked Baton Rouge, & it's not that one. Check the Saratoga Springs show from July & the Cleveland show from August.

David...thanks....i have the saratoga and the cleveland tapes so obviously it's neither of those....i think it definately must be dallas then cause the tape i have cuts at the end of rhiannon too....right before the "all the same" verses at the end....what a shame too cause she sounded good that night...if the tape didn't cut out we could have gotten some good wails!!!
