Favorite Mac Video
Let's take a poll, since there seem to be alot of new Ledgies.
Favorite Mac video?? Gypsy, hands down. |
"Tell me lies.."
Little Lies......Lindsey is not in Gypsy enough for me although him in the suit and hat is SCRUMPTIOUS.....but I love Little Lies!!
|
Hold Me is the one I first saw and I love it so much. Lots of Lindsey here!;)
|
I like the Tusk video, too.
It is too funny how Mick carries that cardboard cutout of John around because he wasn't at the video shoot! What does bug me about this video is when LB starts pulling on SN when she is standing up and cheering for the USC marching band. It's like he is embarrased by her or something. |

Hold Me! Is the best video in my opinion... just some added info... It is directed by Bruce Gowers who also directed "The Dance"... I love the video in the desert and the paintings... it is great... |
Gypsy is the winner.
I love her in the rain in the black dress, running past the dancers, throwing her fists & elbows up, then appearing framed in the room. Honorable mentions: Stevie looks trashy hot in Hold Me & amazing in Seven Wonders (such a simple video and it shows warmth between her and Lindsey), and very good in As Long As You Follow. Little lies is a beautiful video. It shows Stevie's profile (she has not aged in twenty years from that angle), plus I like the shot of her walking with Chris. Incidentally, the worst videos are the Mask ones - everybody looks awful. They're even worse than the unoriginal Paper Doll. Also, I think everybody looks pretty bad in Big Love, which could have been cool if not for that. - Jake |
Easily, Little Lies. None of the others come close. I also like Hold Me, Gypsy & Love Shines.
|
It HAS to be Gypsy...a total Stevie fest..hee hee!
I just love all that girlie Stevie-ness and spend ages looking at all the props in the bedroom, 'cause I'd like to think that they took inspiration for it from Stevie's own bedroom...maybe:D Love and happiness from Sarah |
Without a doubt it's Gyspy....It shows Stevie at her absolute finest........I love the story the black and white footage told...and Stevie is absolutely gorgeous in her own little 'enchanted' forest, especially with the girls coming to dance with her towards the end. Stevie and Lindsey's 'dance' was something to watch....both looked a little nervous to me, although Lindsey's always smooth...when he goes to kiss her hand, I always thought she trembled a bit...and I get a kick out of John and Christine, dressed up in their best vintage garb toasting one another....seemed like they were having a jolly ol' time!!
And of course, the shot's of Stevie dancing in front of her mirror were gorgeous as well!! It was directed by Russell Mulchahey (sp?) I believe, and at that time....it was considered one of the most expensive videos ever made...I believe it's tally was around $1 million...(though don't quote me...I just remember J.J Jackson (old MTV V-J) mentioning something to that effect.) |

Yes that was one of the first things I noticed when I first saw that video...how Stevie's hand trembles as Lindsey takes it and brings it up to his face....ohhh the intensity!!;) Love and happiness from Sarah |
uhm...Big Love
|
Peacekeeper because it's Fleetwood Mac back to basic. It's like the old days of Go Your Own Way, Dreams etc. They're just there playing the song live, at their best.
Next would be Seven Wonders because of the interaction between the band members and Lindsey being funny wearing a stupid hat. |
I do like Seven Wonders too. Stevie looks like she has more "clarity" (for lack of a better word) in this video than she has in awhile. I think she had just gotten out of the Betty Ford Center before Tango, right?
Mick, on the other hand, still looks as coked up as usual during this video. |
Stevie looked better in the "Tango in the Night" videos than she sounded on the album... ;)
Don't get me wrong... I love the album and her voice on it.. but it is definetly not her best sounding... I love "When I See You Again" but I don't think the average listener (non-fleetwood mac fanatic) would care for it at all... |
