Stevie's "Walls"?????

Someone said that talking about Stevie's "Walls" was taboo, but what does that mean? What are Stevie's Walls?

Sheena Easton once had a song called Sugar Walls written by Prince. I think people are getting their walls mixed up.;) Rememeber, this is the woman who wouldn't sing on Come because she felt that it was dirty.

Where did Stevie say that? I want to see it. I figured that's why her voice wasn't on that track! 'Twas a miracle she and Christine ever said the word "Tusk!";) They have a right to the way they feel about it, but I have to admit it cracks me up!:D

Actually Lindsey said it in one of his recent interviews. Does anyone remember which one? I don't think Stevie has even commented on this song, has she?

Lindsey has spoken a lot on this subject-- Stevie didn't want to sing on the song because she felt it was dirty, and he was going for more of a funny, sarcastic tone in the song so they sort of got their "signals crossed" on that one, ha ha ha. Then he made a comment that made me laugh-- that for a wild, sexy, rock and roll icon, Stevie was actually pretty conservative.

I've never read an interview where Stevie talks about the song. But, correct me if I'm wrong, I think in the same interview above, Lindsey said something like "people will think it's about her, but it's not" and then goes on to say it's about a past relationship he was in-- and we all know who he's referring to there.

As far as "walls" [to get back on topic ] I've always thought of them in the emotional sense, I mean going back to "Go Your Own Way" you can see that one of the main problems between them was their inability to open up to each other.

I don't think anyone was serious about Stevie's "flaming walls" being taboo.

Sounds like a medical problem that is better left unsaid, though.
