Question-Stevie and Lindsey
What solo song of Stevie's would you like to hear with Lindsey's singing with her and his accompaniment?
I would love to hear "Nightbird". |
No doubt about it!!!
SORCERER!!!!!!!!
Their harmonies on that song are EXQUISITE and his playing is EXCELLENT!!!:nod: |
Candlebright and Sorcerer. Mostly because they were written so long ago when S and L were starting out and really have that folky, duet feel to them. Sheryl did a good job with them on TISL, but I would love to she and Lindsey try their hand at them again! :)
I also think "It's Only Love" would also sound good with the two of them~ |
Now that I think of it...
Planets of the Universe=:-)

I know I'm weird.
I think Sorcerer could never live up to the demo. And Nightbird is already perfect. For me, it's like remaking a movie. Start with one that has potential but is lacking.
Believe it or not, I'd love to hear what Lindsey would do with Whole Lotta Trouble. That's a song that never quite connected for me, and I'm not sure why. Given Stevie's Grammy nomination (not that that means much) I sure don't hear much about this song, either. Also, what could he do with Alice & Doing the Best that I Can? (I can almost imagine DTBTIC with a rocking guitar part like Come. BTW, I like this song more than I like Alice.) Or a guitar version of Wild Heart could be interesting, though I do love the album version. Also, I know you asked about solo, but I'd be interested to hear what Lindsey might do to some of the Mask songs like Love is Dangerous and Affairs of the Heart, which is one of my least favorites of Stevie's. - Jake |

Weeeell, she dances around you in a circle, then she follows you down 'til the pound of her left hook clocks you.
(You did ask.:) ) |
I would have liked some Lindsey backing vocals on I Miss You and even Fall From Grace (that would have been pretty cool). Ya know what I wonder....what Lindsey would have sounded like singing the final verse of Stand Back..."Why don't you taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake me hooooooooooome....why don't you taaaaaaaaake me hoooooome....yeaaaa" ;) I also agree with Sorcerer and Planets
