Scary though...

I remember watching 100 Greatest Shocking Moments in Rock and Roll History on VH-1 and at that Who concert back in the day...people were trampled to death because of the general admission thing....that scares me. :(

Hopefully, they will be more orderly...I hope so.

I went to a general admission show at earls court in london and it was fantastic. i was in the front row, and no one was pushing or anything. of course it was david gray, so the crowd wouldn't exactly be that rowdy anyway. i'm sure the majority of fm fans could be courteous enough not to trample anyone.

Kate...

That's good to know!! :) Yeah, the Who incident was back in the day, and also, this was in America...where people are very obnoxious, pushy and shovey anyways. LOL

Yep, that includes me.

Yeah, I'm one of those too. I've been transplanted for a year and I have to stop pretending to be British in a little over a month when i have go back to the states, and go back to being American. Actually people on the streets and in the Tube in London can be pretty D@*n pushy.

I would much rather have general admission. I was at the front for FM at Wembley Stadium for Behind The Mask... queued for hours then legged it to the front!

I wouldn't panic... I survived the pit while System Of A Down were on stage at a festival, and I'm still alive. It's rock and roll, people! I have also found that, on the whole, standing gigs get a better performance out of the band on stage...

Oh, and as for the pre-sale... I assume it's for the seating that's behind the standing area... I know some people don't like to stand, but still want to be at the front of the seated block.

Laura.
