Phoenix - Lady in RED!
I'll post my full review/Phoenix experience later in this thread, but wanted to let y'all know that Stevie actually dug out the RED. She wore a BEAUTIFUL red, burnt velvet, sequined duster during Gypsy. It's too bad the AZ newspaper didn't show pics of it, but did you notice that her hair was parted on the side? No more Marcia Brady! LOL
Mindy Stein is noticably pregnant - we weren't sure at first, but it was confirmed later that she is, so I guess they'll be looking for a new backup singer soon (Me, me, me!!!). Where are all the peeps who had the donor tix? I want details! |
YAY! So glad to see the red has come out of hiding.
Mindy's pregnant? Awww--I couldn't tell at Worcester (but that was 2 months ago). I have always been jealous of her tiny figure (Sharon's too)...but I'm glad there's going to be a little one for her and her husband! How did you find out she was pregnant, BTW? |
My 900th post, btw....

(furiously digging out ANY tapes of his vocal abilities...)
Stevie could do an American Idol type thing to get a new backup singer!!!! Rhiannon Idol!!! She likes Ryan Seacrest. He could host it! Randy |
Livia~
thanks for the info on the red duster!! Maybe we'll see it more on the second leg~ I hope so :) Did anyone happen to sneak a camera inside? ;) Aww, a baby- that's great news for Mindy :) Congrats to her! I am a singer who is currently unemployed and looking for work!  xx Meredith |
Livia, Meredith, and Marissa~~~the new backup singers...call us the Fleetwood Mac fly girls

C'mon Livia!
It's time to tell the story from YOUR spot at the show! I did laugh reading how you moved your seat BACK to get away from some spoilers. I'm hoping the rest of the show went well for you!

Was this red shawl the same one she wore for 'Twisted' during the Enchanted tour?
-Evan |
No, it wasn't a shawl, it was a floor-length duster-jacket, reminiscent of the "bathrobe" look from TOSOTM tour, sans the shoulder pads. It was GORGEOUS!!
And work's been busy - plus I haven't felt creative enough to write my review, but I'll get to it! I didn't have the donor package, so my Phoenix experience is not as exciting as those folks! But I'm glad I got to meet some new Ledgies and re-visit some others I've met before. :wavey: |
I took pictures of the duster in San Diego but I haven't developed my film yet. If I get a decent picture of it, I'll post it and the biege one from Dallas. They are beautiful.
