Is it true about Stevie's dad.........
 

...I just came back from a 3-day trip to Orlando, and my Enchanted mailing list subjects said something about Stevie's dad being ill....Is this true?

I haven't heard anything since the heart situation of years ago. The Nicksfix has posted nothing. I hope he's fine. If the story is true, no doubt it's been weighing on Stevie, poor thing.

If he is sick, then I wish him a speedy recovery. I have met him; he is a genuinely nice person.

Im not on the Enchanted list, but I hope if its true he feels better soon! Mr. Nicks is a kind hearted man!

...I assume it might be, the man is in his 80's. I have heard this from a few sources & rumour has it Chris Nicks confirms that their dad is very ill. Paula

I hope it's not true but if is, I wish him a speedy recovery and my thoughts are with the Nicks family.

Stevie and her family are in my thoughts. It must be really hard on her to have to go and tour and perform for all of us while worrying about her dad not to mention how difficult it must be on Barbara to have to go through this. May he make a speedy recovery and get well soon. Not that I want to see anyones concert cancelled but I hope that Stevie realizes that as her fans, we want her to take it easy and be allowed to spend time with her family in what must be an extroidinarily hard time. "Rumour" has it she's been flying to Phoenix after the past few shows in order to be with him. Lots of love to the Nicks family~~

Chris Nicks is a scam artist and a slimeball; I wouldn't believe anything he says. If he told me George W. Bush was the president, I'd take it with a grain of salt. He's loathsome.

However, if Jess Nicks is ill, I pray to god that he recovers. He's a kindhearted man and I wish him the best. I hope his family is okay. :)

I love how we can put aside grievances in order to come together for the common cause.

I am not sure who you are or where you got your info from ... but it is definitely not true!!! Mr. Nicks is not on his death bed nor is he sick with any life treathening illiness!!! I have talked to Chris himself and he wants me to assure you that his father is in good health for a man in his 80s and is anxiously awaiting the AHI show here in Phoenix...

The fact that fans would come on here and start such a ludicrous rumor about a member of the Nicks family deeply disturbs them. It is "cruel ridiculous and untrue."

Also, Sorcerer386, if you were told this in secret why on earth would you take it upon yourself to post it on a message board and start such a terrible rumor? It only gets people in a frenzy and does no good.

If anyone has any serious concerns or well wishes I will forward them on to Chris Nicks... and I am NOT joking. This is a serious and disgusting matter.

do you know Chris? have you ever met him? have you ever said anything to him other than "hi i'm a big fan of your sister's?" he is one of the most humble gracious and kind men you could ever possibly hope to meet in your life.... i'm so terribly disgusted that you posted something about someone you don't know. and if you have ever met him and spoken with him.. and found that he was rude to you at all... there was probably a good reason! now think about that!!!

From what I was reading, some people had heard Mr. Nicks was ill at the moment and all of the Ledgies were wishing him well and a quick recovery. I didn't read any cruel and hateful rumours. If it isn't true than I'm sure we all just breathed a sigh of relief. Noone here wants him ill or Stevie worrying. Just sounds like some miscommunication to me. No need to get ugly.

First of all, I don't know who YOU are or whatever, but it's quite annoying that you singled ME out especially when I did NOT start this thread. I merely stated what I had heard from a HIGHLY credible source. If you look at the original beginning post to this thread, the rumor was started BEFORE we discussed it here...it seems to have been going through the Enchanted mailing list. I was told not to say anything at all, which is why I'm now going to delete that post of mine. But don't sit there and tell me I'm STARTING terrible rumors. True, I added to them, and I will take the heat for that, which again is why I'll delete my post. Plus, I don't see why it's a "disgusting" rumor...we're all posting out of concern for the Nicks family. Stevie is very VERY special to a lot of us here, and not to single myself out but ESPECIALLY to me, and I am only showing my concern for her. This post will also be deleted in a couple of days...I just wanted to explain a little. Please do not quote from this post so that, when I delete it (as well as my other), it'll go away.

It's a well-known fact that he's a creep; you obviously don't know him if you say he's such a wonderful man. He uses his status as Stevie's brother to sleep with her fans (and is so obvious about it), steal their money, and just about anything else you can think of. He's living off of his sister. He sexually harrasses people and gets away with it. He's also a crook who's cheated fans out of LOTS of money. I'm sure there are plenty of people on this board that know all about that schmuck. Now think about that.
