Birmingham tickets + web site

I don't know if it's kosher to offer tickets here, but I would rather a fan get these than anyone else. If you'd like to come to the Birmingham show, I have a couple of extra tickets available for well below face. The seats are pretty good (Section 10L) on Stevie's side of the stage, about halfway back. Just e-mail me and we'll arrange something.

Also, for those who are interested in the evolution of "Thrown Down" (my favorite song on Say You Will), you can check out my web site at www.jamie-cole.com for downloads. I still like the wall of sound version a good bit, and Stevie's original demo is there, too.

Great site JamieSPC.

I wanted to tell you if you did not already know that the "Thrown Down" on the DVD-A is different than the two "regular" CD issues. The DVD-A has a high harmony from perhaps Sharon and Minday that echos the chorus. For example "Thrown Down then they come in with Thrown Down," etc. I do not know how to send it to you or I would. Sorry for that. I hope, however, this posts is nre ifo for you and your cool site!!!

I noticed that listening to the DVD-A... but I had not thought of putting it on my Thrown Down page until you mentioned it! Thanks for that... I'll record it tonight and get it on there ASAP.

I don't know why this song resonates with me so much... I think it's because the first time I heard it was the wall of sound version that sounded so much like late 80s FM, maybe produced by Dashut or the guy that did Behind the Mask. Then when I heard the album version it just felt like a signature Lindsey production of a Stevie song, and I loved it even more.

Thanks again for the idea.
