My Cleveland show pictures

I'm not sure how long these will be up, because my free Picture Trail account expires soon, I think.

As promised, here they be:

It was hard to hold the camera still enough to get good shots, because security was nearby. This one looks kinda cool.

One of the best pics.

This pic would have been AWESOME if it weren't so blurry...she was so close to us.

Josh those came out pretty good!!! I have a hard time holding the camera steady too.:(

What seats did you have it again? You used the Fuji digital right? Did you use a flash and are there different types of discs like film speeds?

I know I am a pain but I know nothing about photograpy.

The blur adds a sort of impressionistic, psychedelic, action quality to it all. ;) Great shots, thanks for posting those!

I agree! The first time I saw the second pic though it gave me the impression of their souls floating up out of them..weird huh?
But great shots all in all...I love the one of them bowing at the end! Classic MAC!!

Hey Josh!

Great Photos!

I too, especially, liked the haunted blurry one that looks like the spirit of Stevie's past rising out of her. If you look very closely you'll see that the apparition actually looks like Stevie from the Mirage tour '82 VHS when she was singing backup and dancing to "EYES OF THE WORLD" and wearing that sparkling silvery jacket with the fringe (the one she wore in the "GYPSY" video dancing in the forest) and being very, very flirtatious playing her tambourine, or it may be that the apparition is Rhiannon, or...maybe it's only a dream. It's some heavy mystical photometry ~ it really does look like some kind of spirit from Stevie's misty past. I can even see her wearing her golden crescent moon necklace.

I am curious as to where exactly you were sitting. I have 8th row, center floor, seats 8-9 for the San Hose show and have completely forgotten how good or how bad these seats can actually be.

Also curious as to what you thought of the stage set. It looks like they are space travellers on some other strange planet whereon they have a unique vantage to view other planetary horizons and yet still remain as though there is darkness all around them at times. Did the lighting always cast the same color of orange throughout the show? Did anything move at all? What did you think of it? Here I am, wishing I wanted to be surprised!

Your pictures were also a painfully clear reminder that it is just the four of them there on stage playing. Oh, how we miss Christine. Please reassure me that there is a keyboardist touring with them to fill out their sound!!!

I think I may have nightmares tonight of them sounding like a three piece rhythym band playing out of a garage! And with what people are telling me about the lousy sound system at the San Hose Compaq Center here in California, they may sound just like that too!

Thank you for your photo wizardry and bravery, it's a real treat!

OK...to Tamara and Pattie- No flash is definitely best, I think. There is enough lighting on the stage to pick up the band, and with a flash, I've noticed that it usually just picks up the heads of the people in front of me. And yes, Pattie, that is the Fuji digital. I don't know if there are different speeds available, but my camera just uses a memory card, and not disks. The pictures are uploaded to my hard drive via USB port.

Moon Brother-I guess I just happened to take the pictures when the lighting was orange. If I remember correctly, there was a variety of colors used. For example, during "Silver Spring", the lights were blue and green (naturally). And yes, there was a keyboardist...Brett Tuggle. He did a great job. Had a great solo during "Don't Stop." My seats were in the 5th row, so your eighth row seats should be great. Granted I was using a zoom on my camera, but these pictures should give you some idea of how your seats will be. And your worries about them sounding like some three piece rhythm band playing out of a garage...I assure you, you DON'T have to worry about that! :D
