Farewell to our beloved songbird.

Wow, that's such a horrible shock. :(

I'm in the middle of a long drive. I'm without words. I've always dreaded the day this would come.

I'm at work and just numb and sort of in shock.

I'm crying on the inside.

This hurts. What a loss. Fly high, Songbird.

Oh no, this is so very sad. Oh Christine.

I'm floored... I don't know what to say.

Absolutely gutted.

Thank you, Christine, for all the music through the years. :distress:

She sang once "there's no use in crying, it's all over".

I feel inconsolable, broken.

I'm devastated. May our beautiful Songbird Rest In Peace and we enjoy the beautiful music she brought into our lives through the years.

RIP Christine and thanks for the wonderful music you brought to us over so many years.

Very sad... When I saw The Mac without her it just wasn't the same. What a talent...

I think I am in shock.

I loved Christine. She was my favourite member of the Mac. I thought she epitomised class and grit, in a particularly British way. I was so, so pleased to have seen her when she reunited with the band at the O2 in 2013. I will never forget that night.

I saw this post heading and was hoping it was not true. I'm in shock right now.
