Peter's son has a message for Mick, John and Jeremy
 

Very sad to watch. He seems to be stoned and depressed. That he was unsure of the timeline of his father’s involvement in the band he calls out is telling. Not sure what he wants accomplished here, but Mick should reach out to him.

All he has to do is pay $500 to show up at one of Mick's meet and greets to get facetime with Mick :eek:

Seriously though, Mick tried many times through the years to get Peter back into music and things yet it never worked. I am not sure Mick has any answers for his son. I can understand the pain he went through not knowing his dad the way he should have. But it really has nothing to do with Mick. Drugs affect people differently. Most people take ecstasy and have fun while some take it and die. Some can dabble in drugs and never get addicted while others become slaves to the drug.
Bob Welch told a scary story of him meeting Peter Green in Germany during the time Peter changed. He knew something was up because Peter had a piece of grilled cheese in his hair which Bob and anyone else would think was strange. 3 days later Bob ran into Peter again and sure enough the grilled cheese was still baked in his hair.
Peter's son looks so much like his dad. I understand his pain. He is looking for answers but sadly no one has those answers.

The accounts of Mick, John and Jeremy seem genuine enough. It's a shame that there was never a joint interview with the three of them and Peter in later years. There was going to be reunion gig, I believe in the 2000s but I remember reading somewhere that Peter backed out. It would be nice if one of them contacted Liam, I agree.

Listen, life is full of things that happen that no one can provide specific explanations for. Peter was an adult. He chose to go off with a certain subgroup of people and took whatever drugs. My understanding from what all the others have said over the years is that they didn't go with that same subgroup of people Peter did, so they didn't necessarily take the same drugs Peter did. Peter is responsible for his own decisions. And wasn't it like the 60s, not the 80s? This person seems to not know his own father's history, though he claims to have read stuff on it. Sounds like Peter was already "gone" when this guy was born and growing up. As culpable as Mick is for other things, that in particular is not on him. As far as his mental health is concerned, it sure sounds like Peter had issues before the drugs event, it may be that the drugs exacerbated or accelerated those issues but they were surfacing already. Often people self-medicate to deal with mental health issues. Seems odd to think that Mick alone holds some magic key to unlocking Peter's issues, and even if he did, how that would re-write this guy's personal history and relationship or non-relationship with his father.

I also pointed out that Jeremy only lasted nine more months and that Danny’s fate was even sadder than Peter’s. Those guys were geniuses, but absolutely not cut out for something at that level.
