Why no "Save Me?"

OK, so why is Skies the Limit on TVBOFM but Save Me isn't? They were both singles, correct? I like Save Me much better personally.

Oh, and for all the picking on Stevie's writing/grammar/pronunciation that we do (myself included), I just have to note that it should be "Sky's the Limit."

Yeah, macfan_57 mentioned that in the "Christine songs you dislike" thread. I think the title's pretty annoying, too. I can't decide if I like "Save Me" more than the song or not. I'll have to listen to both of them more.

But what I think is more important is HOW and WHY did "Family Man" wind up on TVBOFM?

I love both Skies (Sky's) The Limit and Save Me. I do prefer Save Me, though. I have no idea why STL was chosen over it. I guess it fits better in the running order or something....I dunno.

As for Family Man....I love love love this song! It was a single, and Liddy didn't have many singles with the band. I think it deserves to be on TVBOFM. As for Go Insane....I love this song, too, but I dunno if it was a good choice for the CD. Oh well. I'm still glad it is on there.

I was just listening to this CD at work. SKIP! I don't like it either. And Paper Doll? Is one of the Very Best? I think not.

Maybe they thought people would run for cover if they knew Save Me was on VBoFM? Okay, that was lame.

I'm sure including Paper Doll was simply to make sure there were a couple tracks that everyone didn't have. Mick needs our money.... ;)

Yes, it should be "Sky's The Limit". This has annoyed me for years. Both "Save Me" & "Skies The Limit" were singles. But "Save Me" charted higher, so there is no logical reason why "Skies The Limit" is on TVBOFM. I think "Paper Doll" was a single from the Chain box set, but it never charted. That could be why it's on TVBOFM. In my opinion, "Go Insane" should NOT have been on there since it's a Lindsey Buckingham SOLO song, not a Fleetwood Mac song.
