Christine's version of "Can't Help Falling In Love"
I was thinking about this song the other day, particularly in view of the fact that it was the catalyst for Fleetwood Mac eventually reconvening for the Tango In The Night album. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows if the soundtrack album this came from (A Fine Mess in 1986) was ever released on cd? Also, does anyone have a high quality version that they could post?

Thanks very much Gail - I really appreciate it!

Does anyone have a lossless copy of this track they can share?

I will look. I have a copy some where. It might be in storage.
At first, I thought it was underwhelming. But, I actually like what she did with it in the long run. |

As excited as I was for the song, I was a bit disappointed. Its good but for some reason I wanted to like it more. When I heard she covered the song, I imagined it would be spectacular because for some reason it seems like a song for her. I don't think there is a song of Chris's that I hate. There are those that I just like more than others. This is one that's sort of a bottom dweller. Even her vocal is not that great. However, much of 80's music was crap. The movie was one of the biggest bombs at the box office in the 1980's. I tried to watch it once but could not get through it. Its so dumb. |

I'd long forgotten about this song, and have also never had a proper copy. |
Wow, I listened to it on this cool, cloudy time changing Sunday. Beautiful.
