So many musicians were extremely productive during Lockdown with great success. Taylor Swift released 2 CD's and both were hits. Elton John's duet record is doing very well. But Stevie unfortunately is all talk and no action. She's always been that way. Makes so many promises about future projects she will never do because the only thing she ever wants to do is tour.

I think it's Sheryl Louis and Irving Azoff who made it about endless concerts for her. Azoff is proud that he told the Eagles not to do any new music after Long Road Out of Eden. Journey had a period of no new music for like 10 years until they left Azoff. Chris Isaak, who's managed by Louis, hasn't released a new album of his own songs in a while.
Even when Bruce and U2 did classic album tours, they still had a new song or 2 to bring along with them.

It's all about money now, and the king of money is Azoff. Why should they waste time recording new songs, when they can be out there hustling money for him?

Stevie has so much music left to record. And I don't mean Show Them the Way... that was just her way of getting her voice into the national conversation but it actually didn't address any of the issues in the USA. That's why the "music video" was all pictures and not her singing the song. The song lyrics didn't match the pictures (just when she said Proper Names)

Great demos just sitting in Phoenix. She could probably make some money with a new record because every tv show would take her, she'd be on RollingStone cover again, billboards everywhere.

It's like Stevie after Say You Will all over again.

Are you saying that she's self absorbed?:p

Really, she can't talk about anyone else, without turning it into a story about herself. She's a narcissist's narcissist.

I don't think the failure of Show Them the Way was because the song was about her walking through a dream, but because it didn't have a message.

What is The Way? Please God show him (Biden), her (Harris) The Way. Why do they need to be show the way? Why doesn't Stevie have to be show the way?
Is The Way, Jesus Christ?

With Pride by U2, they're showing reverence to Dr. MLK Jr and his legacy: One man come in the name of love and what he had to endure: caught on a barbed wire fence, they took your life

I'm not sure how Show Them the Way will be received at Jazz Fest.

Eh, I just thought it was because it wasn’t a good song.

You think she'll play it live this year? I think the youth will be scratching their heads.

Her political songs, Desert Angel and Soldier's Angel are fantastic. Show Them the Way is a mishmosh with no takkeaway. What should that song inspire one to do?

Stolen Car would be better at her upcoming shows.

She could sell treadmills on the side of the stage.

She told a reporter it's a song that'll make you want to get on your treadmill. I figured she could make an extra mint if she endorses them instead of wasting her time promoting fun on the Las Vegas strip.

The casinos she gave her voice for aren't on The Strip.
Show Them the Way on the treadmill? Nah. More like Ghosts Are Gone for the treadmill
