New mixes of Rumours and the White Album in Dolby ATMOS
 

Both Apple and Amazon have the new DOLBY ATMOS mixes of these albums and they sound AMAZING. Some have new lead and backing vocals... new parts previously unheard... Its a pretty great listen.

And the Rumours cash cow still yields milk!

Yep. I'm done. I think I've bought Rumours at least 10 times.

I got lost on how many editions Rumours has. I think I bought (besides the classic CD) just the DVD audio, the expanded edition (~2004?) and the 35th anniversary deluxe edition (~2013). Was ther also a SUPER deluxe edition??? :confused:

PS: I can't wait for the HYPER deluxe edition :rolleyes:

2004 for White, Rumours, and Tusk was my LAST time for repurchasing the same stuff, Over And Over(pun).

I got the Legacy: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac's Rumours in 1998. Dreams and GYOW were ok, but though I'm an Elton fan, I hated his Don't Stop version.

The rest of the songs, I don't even remember how they sound.

Yeah, I've got it. I only listened to it maybe 3 times when I got it, and never have since.

These new mixes are AMAZING... esp the WHITE ALBUM. New vocals and parts never heart before. Similar to the 5.1 mixes... and THEY ARE FREE! You cant even buy them, they are only for streaming (I believe) -- and can be found on Amazon music, Apple Music and probably google play. Look for the version that says DOLBY ATMOS... put on your headphones and stream the magic!

That album in general was painful. Elton's Don't Stop was B-RU-TAL.

Yes, he mailed that in. And you would think he could give it a little Christine honky tonk.

How do I find these?

You should check out the Just Tell Me That You Love Me tribute album- it’s mostly by folks I haven’t heard of, but Marianne Faithfull and Matthew Sweet are on it. Silver Springs by Lykke Li, Straight Back by Washed Out, Think About Me by the New Pornographers, and Gypsy by Gardens and Villas are the standouts to me, and there are other good songs as well. The majority of folks chose Stevie songs, Christine is well represented, and Lindsey has maybe two songs represented. Also includes pre Buckingham Nicks songs. I like it, it’s definitely different.

I'm not on Apple Music either. Here's one I found on YouTube.
