I think it could have been a Tusk song no doubt. I think it had been laying around for a bit before it made it's way onto In the meantime

It's a perfect vehicle for her voice in 2004. She sang is beautifully. She could have sung it beautifully in 1979, too, of course, but I love that we get a more mature sound from her. She was in her 60s when she sang this, but her voice was as warm and intact as it was 30 years earlier, minus the youthful ebullience, plus the wisdom.

Precisely. I love the depths you glimpse when she sings "I've been taken down and I rose right back again".

I thought her voice sounds fantastic on this album. I heard some of the same tone qualities that we heard in, "Bad Loser". Love that range and tone of her voice.
