So sides B are not considered singles

I was going to post a poll asking your favorite non single song from Rumours. So these songs would be excluded:

"Go Your Own Way"
Released: December 1976
"Dreams"
Released: 24 March 1977
"Don't Stop"
Released: April 1977
"You Make Loving Fun"
Released: September 1977

Actually in 1977 my older brother bought the 45 RPM record You Make Loving Fun. I was 11 and had no purchasing power to buy the whole album. I remember playing that record and interested about the whole Rumours, cause my attention was caught by the intriguing title "Gold Dust Woman". So I did considered that song as a single, too. Then Rumours would have had 8 singles ;)

Interesting that (according to Wikipedia) Tusk had just 6 singles, and not in all countries.

"Tusk"
Released: September 1979
"Sara"
Released: December 1979
"Not That Funny"
Released: February 1980 (UK)
"Think About Me"
Released: March 1980
"Sisters of the Moon"
Released: June 1980 (USA)
"Angel"
Released: July 1980 (NL)

Not That Funny? I'll never know why Lindsey is so obsessed with that song.

WMYTYTO is SO much better.

I Know I'm Not Wrong had so much more single potential than either of those. (And I *like* NTF)

Not That Funny is my least favorite of the three and at the time I didn't even realize it was a single even though I was in high school and a rabid fan. It had zero airplay. I thought that Think About Me was the third single. I agree I Know I'm Not Wrong should have been released .It is much catchier and the better song IMO. The more poppy Angel should have also been a single instead of SOTM even though it is not the superior song..strange choices .

Strange indeed. Starting with Tusk itself as a single. Even if they went with Tusk and Sara as the first two, one would think Think About Me and Angel were clear next choices. Beyond that, maybe WMYTYTO? Not That Funny and Sisters are really weird choices.

At the 2013 show I attended, a friend sitting on the other side of the arena text me after NTF and was like “WHAT was THAT!?” More of a casual fan, she was like “that was not that good - it sucked!!” At least it wasn’t 1982 or 1997 level in length - although that said, I can’t stand Mick’s drum solo imbedded into World Turning either.

1997 in Cleveland they did NTF and the crowd went nuts.

I like it because it breaks up the boring hits like Dreams and Rhiannon.

Can you imagine the amount of blow Stevie did during NTF during Tusk and Mirage tours. For Mirage, she was backstage for Im So Afraid too. Gurl was having too much fun!

Outside the title track, NTF is my favorite LB tune on the record. I can perfectly see why it was picked as a single in the post-punk UK. It could be played right alongside a song from the band Madness.

I'd have loved seeing NTF in a concert. And I still insist I like the Mirage video NTF version.

How well did it chart? Serious question, because I have no idea.

I'd be willing to place a wager, though...
