Peter to Guest on Album etc.
 

Hi to all,

I received an email from Bernie Marsden recently, stating the following. Bernie has invited Peter to Guest on his next Album. Apparently Peter is keen to do so. No official confirmation yet, or any projected dates, but possibly something to watch for.

That would be wonderful!!

My thoughts stray to one of the first Splinter Group gigs: Notodden Blues Festival in Norway in 1996. Part of the concert was radio broadcast, and they also recorded a short backstage interview with Peter. It also happened to be a "Peter Green tribute concert" at the same festival by Bernie Marsden and Snowy White. Peter himself was asked about this in the interview, and said something like this:

Yeah, they're my friends, that's why they're doing it. I'll return it to Bernie one day.

Thanks for posting this Don, hadn't heard this, yeah Greeny seems more keen to guesting on albums for people he gets on well with so this makes sense, yes, please do keep us posted (as I'm sure others and myself will do if we hear anything in the meantime). :)
