Your favorite back/inner album cover

Are we in poll season or what??

Anyway, I love polls so here I go with one more:

This may be a non-perfect poll cause I have not seen all original vinyl albums, so in some cases I'm not 100% wich was the back cover, maybe I'm confusing with the picture of the inner sleeve. In that case feel free to post the correct picture of your favorite.

In Mirage I know I'm choosing the inner sleeve picture cause the back cover is kind of continuation of the front cover and we already have voted for it in a previous poll.

So what is your favorite BACK/INNER picture? As long as I remember (not sure about Tusk and Tango, maye confusing back with inner), they are:

My favorite is the white album with my favorite band standing together in a bathroom. I don't know if it's a man or woman's bathroom but I always wondered which.

I'd say a men's room. Look at how awkward Stevie looks in there, like she's afraid to get dirty.

I love how Herbie said that John was going to hug Lindsey for the White album back pictures and Lindsey was taken aback by his approach and kind of steeled himself, before he realized it was a friendly embrace.

And so, of course, I love this BTM movement between them. https://vimeo.com/34925023 Lindsey goes in to hug John, John playfully pulls away and Lindsey retreats and John indicates he was only kidding and he hugs Lindsey and he even pulls Lindsey's hand up to his lips for a kiss. I am so touched. It reminds me of the White album all over again.

But I am going to have to go with Lindsey's Mirage drawing of the band as my favorite. Stevie and Christine draw too and I would love to see some of their images of the band.

Rumours because Stevie and Christine look stunning, plus I like the goofy quality to the smaller photos at the top and Mick's bug eyes in the main picture. I also love Lindsey's beautiful face in this one

Fleetwood Mac 75 and Tusk are my runners up - Tusk is different and neat. The White album is sweet and has a place in my heart because it was my first LP :D

I voted for Mirage but I think the photo of Rumours is one of the best of Stevie. WOW! :blob2:

I voted for Rumours because of Christine's outfit and the embraces happening up top. Second goes to Tango In The Night, Christine looks so cute in that one!

Paintings are always the most unique, so my vote goes to Mirage.

My Tusk CD book has this picture, not sure where it was located at the original vinyl album

And the Tango cd box back looks like this:

I'm voting for Tusk because I love that pic of them. And I love Stevie's hair and blouse, and Christine's jacket, and they both look good in jeans. And the guys look good too. And I love all the pics inside the Tusk album.

Tusk followed by Rumours.

That's my favorite too. I'm curious to know where that bathroom was, and does it still exist. It looks to be a public restroom.

The photo is somewhat reminiscent of the album cover of The Mamas & Papas first album, which featured all of the group piled in a house bathroom bathtub, with a toilet on the side. Soon after the release, because of conservative standards, subsequent issues of the album cover obscured the seemingly visually offending toilet. Years later the exposed toilet cover became a highly sought collectible since it was only briefly commercially available. I'm a big Mamas & Papas fan, and proud owner of an original 1966 toilet cover!

The complex volatile relationships and dramas in this group are a precursor to those of Fleetwood Mac. Fortunately, Fleetwood Mac prevailed, The Mamas & Papas imploded after only three years.

"Mirage" because Fleetwood Mac.

Dreamz19 04-30-2015 01:45 AM

I voted for Tusk, but the White Album is a close second.

Say You Will has the best back cover.
