Green & Guitar

I live in Watford Herts.
There is a pub called The Horns in town and they have a guitar signed by Peter Green.
It is in a glass case and is signed.
Does anyone know of the history?

Can't say it isn't genuine, of course, but isn't Watford close to Essex?
