"Rumours" on UK chart for 1000 weeks/ Christine's 80th birthday anniversary.
In one of those little moments of serendipity, unless something remarkable happens in terms of sales, "Rumours" will enter its 1000th week on the UK album chart on the 7th July. Christine's 80th birthday anniversary will fall five days later, on the 12th.
This will be the first time that a studio album will have a achieved this milestone, although compilations from Queen, Abba and Bob Marley have done so.
An added reason to raise a glass to our songbird, come the day.
