Shows what a great singer-songwriter she is, before she turned all cheesecake. Although Nine to Five is a great movie. :)

I just realized that none of these are really bands, but I don't think that matters.

There really aren't any bands that I'm "obsessed" with...
but the one's whose music has stood the test of time in terms of what I like are:

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Genesis (with Phil Collins on lead, NOT Peter Gabriel)

Have been listening to Petty since I was about eight years old and Genesis since I was about eleven.

That's really about it. Most of the artists I'm listening to now I got into about the same time that I got into FM or after I got into them. Heck, a lot of them I got into BECAUSE of Fleetwood Mac - The Beach Boys, The Kingston Trio, Walter Egan, and Warren Zevon.

I have developed somewhat of an obsession with Eric Clapton though. I never really felt one way or the other about him until the past few years - and quite frankly its his old stuff I'm into. I haven't bought or listened to any new material since 1998's Pilgrim.

Besides Fleetwood Mac (they are first and for most), Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, and The Mamas and The Papas.
