I am really tired of seeing these showbiz cheat sheets appear under “Fleetwood Mac news” Google searches (or Christine McVie ones). They’re all digests of very old stories, “articles” constructed out of context from a detail in a much larger source. And they’re all Stevie-centric, even when they are ostensibly about another band member. I’ve complained about this before but thought a second complaint worth lodging with fellow sufferers who can’t do anything about it ��.

I’m really annoyed that these revisionist puff pieces appear to have come from the Stevie PR engine. It’s one thing to hold the band hostage to her celebrity and refuse to record new music. It’s another to rewrite its history in order to make glorify yourself. Ugh. Where’s BuckVie2?

some people are artists, great at creating and/or performing but bad at advertising themselves.

other people are great at creating a persona and advertising themselves, regardless of their creative output.

The "Queen of Rock" marketing machine will go into overdrive once she kicks the proverbial blue lamp. A biopic for sure.
