Current Tour VIP Details?
 

Hi, All--

Can someone please share some details about how VIP is working on the current tour? What time does the pre-show performance start? I haven't received any details from the ticket company (eTix, for Portland), the venue, or VIP organizer.

if it's like the last fall, and since it's the same company running VIPs i think it will be:

• you will get email 1-2 days before the show with instructions
• instructions will tell you where to show up and at what time (it's been different for different dates, any time between 4:30 and 5:30pm)
• VIP people will be let in the venue, given VIP packages and taken into theater for the soundcheck. mask wearing was mandatory for VIP soundcheck last fall, not sure what's going to be policy this spring
• everyone can sit wherever you want, just first few rows are blocked off
• soundcheck include 3 songs and perhaps some riffing by Lindsey and band members
• after the soundcheck you can leave the theater, and when you come back for the show, you can be let in before general public if you have your VIP laminate with you.

My VIP tickets for Portland are will-call only. I am considering dropping Portland in favor of 2 CA shows. Has anyone ever successfully transferred tix to another person in this situation, or is it never allowed?

No meet and greets. This is the hot thing now: soundcheck access ticket packages. The Who does it. KISS. BTS.

Lindsey's soundcheck packages are like $220-$250, which I think is actually fair, it includes a good seat and a signed poster. I think Lindsey would probably have to charge a bit more for a meet and greet package, like $450.

So I think these are easier to sell more of than a really expensive M & G.
