We have the exact same birthday, and obviously both of us are Geminis.
We've both lived in Arizona and San Francisco.
We're both extremely nervous but can be quite clownish and funny.
Our love lives are screwed up.
We grew up listening to the Ronettes and both adore Bob Dylan.
We took ballet for a long time.
We can be really shy.
We have a tendency to put on weight and love junk food.
We overuse the word "fabulous".
We seem sad even when we're happy.

We both have a tendency to use long, intelligent sounding words at awkward times.

We both like(ed) British punk (i.e.-The Clash,etc...I don't know if he still cares for that kind of music though).

We've both had most of the same hair styles (except for the afro)

umm..neither of us are really into the new album that much (she has a few bits on it)
neither of us will be on tour with FM (i am not sure i can afford even the one show)
we both prefer europe to america (even though i have never actually been there but would much rather be living there)
and umm....i guess both of us have problems finding good men.

Stevie and I can both make sense of her song lyrics.
Of course, the song meanings change each time we are asked about them

Well, Stevie is my main Homegirl.

Rather than go with a long list, which would make me nervous, I will pick a few arcane things.

We both live on hilltops in Los Angeles. We both own a lot of boots. We share an obsession with light fixtures. My favorite Stevie quote, after all, is "Life is all about lighting".

On the flip side, I wouldn't date a musician on a bet. So we have some serious differences too.

Stevie's birthday is also in May (2 weeks after mine)...

and she wrote a FM "song" which I just "lived" out today/tonite. Weird, but very true...And sad!

Both started playing guitar as a very young kid. (He was 6, I was 5.)

Both are, and have always been, fingerpicking guitarists.

Both play the same make and model electric guitar. i.e. Turner Model One. (Ok, this is just a coincidence...! I swear!;))

Both find music a means of expression of emotion that is totally and in every way superior to speech.

Both had a "serious relationship" girlfriend from a very long time ago break up with us when we didn't want to, and had the memories of the girl and the relationship adversely affect (in either a minor or major way) almost every single relationship since.

Neither of us have gotten fully over that girl, and probably never will.

Both have a bit of a short temper/violence problem! (I can't afford to throw Turner guitars at walls, but I'll find something!)

Well~
I can turn on one of several of my Tiffany stained glass lamps knowing that Stevie and I have the same Peacock style Tiffany table lamp in our living rooms with the pink, orange, and green-blue glass with the bronze ball fringe embellishments on it. The one in the background of some of her interviews she's done.

What a shocker that was when I saw it ~ knowing darn well I bought that and its matching torchier as a set at LAMPS PLUS!
