I don't know anything about the album, but I've had this bad feeling all along that Christine is absent due to health reasons. I don't buy that the band hasn't spoken to her in years. I think they're protecting her privacy, especially from the British press.
I hope I'm completely wrong.

(OTOH, that Time song Hollywood conveyed much earlier that she was looking to get away anyway. But then again, so did Homeward Bound from 30 years ago.)

Oh I really hope this news about her health are no more than 'rumours', although the reasons of why did she leave the band have never been so well explained... one can only hope, I suppose.

Lidnsey has just said that Christine "burned some bridges". What did he mean by that?

I haven't heard anything at all about Christine being sick. I certainly hope this isn't true. Where did you hear this? Also, where did you hear about this quote from Lindsey? It doesn't sound too far fetched, considering what he has been saying about her.

I took that quote to mean, she did her time with FM, and turned around to torch the bridge (Temporary One? LOL) while they stayed behind to do FM, she went forward to England. :shrug:

The burned bridges quote is from the Dateline interview, I think.

The burning bridges quote was literal! She was indicted for several counts of arson against public property and is currently serving time in a UK county jail!! :laugh: ;) :wavey:

How come if Christine is aknowledged in the liner notes of SYW and added back up vocals to some of the songs, did Stevie (or another FM member) say they hadnt seen or spoken to Christine since 1998? Also when did Chris last surface? Any recent pics or offical info on her?

I am perplexed though by the song Say You Will which I have read is either to Chris or about her-the lines

It always seems to heal the wounds if I can get you to dance...

What wounds, if indeed, this song is about Chris or to her??? Any ideas?

Hi, Ed Roach here! Great to jump in on a thread like this one (my first at this board!) As far as Christine is concerned, from what I know!, she is not sick. She got divorced, sold her CA home, and moved back to England to live a quiet retired, and of course, dignified life--hey, now that's Christine!! Shoot, we're just digging out some real good pictures of Chris me and Dennis (wilson) took of her/us and thinking of all the good times. I hope what I have heard about her is the right story...cos I hate Rumours!!

OK, so what's the freakin' idea in posting an invention in a Forum... What's the fun in it? I don't get it. I suppose this person has to be laughing at all the mess he/she's been causing here, but there are actually a few of us who care about Christine, and the lack of news about her just makes us think that something has to be happening in her life.

Instead of inventing stuff, stay with facts. We'll all thank you for that. And if anyone detects possible fake rumours, please let those of us who don't recognize those people at first sight, know that they are not speaking with the truth. Thanks.

Ed, thank you for setting the record straight and thanks also for the pictures of Christine & Fleetwood Mac. As for Songbird Anne, what a sick and disgusting thing to do. I'm not going to get into what I really think of you. And, I also just want to second everything Cristian just posted. He pretty much said everything that I was thinking anyway.

Doesn't songbird anne realize that there is a huge community of Mac fans who remember things people say. What a liar, Gawd. :distress: Whatever.
