Stevie's New Hair Style?

I've noticed several posts about Stevie's new hair style. Does somebody have a picture? I haven't seen it yet!

Thanks
SRhiannon:angel:

I am not sure how to post pics . . .

But there are some on velvetmoon.com

Here is the place:

I hope you can find it! :)

Personally, I preferred Stevie's hair style during The Dance. Maybe she's experimenting.

Can someone else put this picture up? Thank you!

I think Stevie looks like that actress from "Private Benjamin" (not Goldie Hawn) with that hair. That is so not a compliment, but I love you Stevie.

Rumours 03-28-2003 09:48 PM

Yeah, I don't think I'm all that thrilled about the wigged out hair either.
It's a bit, shall we say, toooooo curly & frizzy.
I say tone it down a bit and she'll be a-ok!

Well why the hell is that not working...sorry i tried :P

Sorcerer386 03-29-2003 01:35 PM

I kind of like the style from the front, but when she's shot at an angle, this style of hair makes her face look bigger. I think the problem here is that her hair is parted on the side, making a big bridge over the top of her head and therefore looking fuller on the other side. I think the perm would look a lot better if her hair were parted in the middle.

rhiannon1119 03-29-2003 01:35 PM

I actually didn't like it when I first saw it. I thought it was totally unflattering to her, but after seeing it for a while.. it is growing on me. I can live with it.. I like it.

:) Michelle

DrummerDeanna 03-29-2003 01:44 PM

I like it, it's different and kinda cool..I Just like big long hair (not too big though)..I guess just full...I was getting a little bored with the same old flat look she had going on....

SmthngOfADreamr 03-29-2003 02:48 PM

It's growing on me too... Kind of makes her look a little younger, no?

SRhiannon 03-29-2003 03:15 PM

Thanks for posting the pictures! Where were they taken? I actually like her hair....we are just not use to her with curls again! lol

gldstwmn 03-29-2003 03:31 PM

What would we rather have? Straight hair and no boots or curly hair and boots?:)

jwd 03-29-2003 03:32 PM

I think those are from the AOL Sessions.

Personally I like her hair with a little curl and she needed a change from the straight look she's had for years.

I think she looks mahvelous...simply mahvelous! :)

Joe

SRhiannon 03-29-2003 03:38 PM

Curls and Boots! Yeah!

rianbay1 03-29-2003 06:43 PM

I think it Looks FANTASTIC ! ! ! ! It reminds me of the pic from the "If You Ever Did Believe" promo CD cover (The one that's also in the Best Buy Dance Tour CD). I think a change was due. Makes her look more youthful (Not that she ever looks her age) :D

LilyRose 03-29-2003 10:14 PM

I don't like it. I think it makes her face look fat. It would be better if she had the more tamed waves like in the "Everyday" video. You know, the part where she's wearing the peach dress. She looked so beautiful like that. If she wants big ole hair again, then she should go back to her "Rock A Little" hair. Now that was rock n roll ;)

Susie

Rumours 03-29-2003 10:35 PM

I still think it's screaming "STREET ANGEL TOUR" at me.

It's too frizzy, too kinky, and yes I agree that the parting off to the side is making it look even fuller, and not good.

I'm all for curl, I think she looks great with some curl, I'm glad to see a change from the flat straight look, but this is too much.

Susie, you are right on with the Everyday video with her in the peach dress......now THERE her hair looked beautiful!!! Loose waves.....no kinks!! THAT'S marvelous! Go with that!!!!!

And yes, these pictures were taken from the Sessions@aol.

Stephanie :)

Well, boots, of course! But if she wanted to make a change, I'd say change the DRESS and keep the hair!

Sarah 03-30-2003 01:54 PM

its like she took her hair out of a few big braids or somethin. thats what my hair looks like when i unbraid it, anyway.

IMO, i think her hair looks best on the TISL-"era" picture on the main page of the Nicksfix. I think she's looking out the window or something.. but she's wearing black (surprise!!!!!) and maybe looking out a window.

her hair looks so smooth, and the highlights are beautiful.

Hair

At first the hair was a shock to me, being so used to the Dance/TISL look. And to tell you the truth, it still is a shock to me. Curl is cool, but there's a point where it becomes a bit much. But those aol pictures are a lot better than the ones we saw earlier from one of her radio interviews. It must have been really windy that day, or something.

LOL.

she's going for the windblown look now.

Okay, now look at THIS pic

(from Nicks Fix)

Just my opinion, but to me, this is a great pic:

http://www.nicksfix.com/nicksfix152.jpg

but I guess someone's been working on her "image" (which I think was just fine as it was).

DrummerDeanna 03-31-2003 11:37 AM

Another thing to consider is that all of these pics with the "new hair" are not like show pics...you know? She's just working or whatever, not fully made up etc....so perhaps with some work it'll look really cool! JMO

gypsysara 03-31-2003 01:44 PM

I agree its saying "Street Angel Tour" to me as well. I like it but I do like other styles on her better, just IMO.

SRhiannon 03-31-2003 04:25 PM

:wavey: Well, it will be very fun to see what her hair looks like on tour....will she keep the waves or not...........? That's the question! :wavey:

SeventhWonder 03-31-2003 07:28 PM

Well I think she looks great! Just...tone it down a little bit and it would be perfect.

Don't care if it's been said...TWO words..

ELECTRICAL. SOCKET.

LOL
~alex~*....What..I *still* love her;)

ERigby818 04-01-2003 03:57 PM

I gree about the loose, soft waves being nice but no frizz...

She needs to keep the bangs straight, IMO. I love the parts of her BTM where she has curly hair. It's tame and smooth. I am really not fond of this new 'do.
I think she was probably looking for a change because this is like a new "era" for her, for the band. So she probably wanted to do something different with it without cutting it. I thnk if she's gonna do curls she should do the BTM look or get some big hot rollers. That would look pretty. But keep the bangs straight. Those are what make her look so young (that, and she's never had kids).

I think it looks absolutely perfect here....
(Thanks to Antje for the heads-up)

nae 04-01-2003 06:18 PM

Nice pic, but I still like it the way she had it before better.I guess Stevie is letting her bangs grow. I like Stevie with her bangs. Poo!

Stevie, sweetie, darling, two words: STYLING PRODUCTS!

My hair is naturally curly and if I just get out of the shower and let it air dry, without putting anything in it, it looks like Stevie's hair in these pics. You can still have the no-bangs, curly thing. A little mousse and a little Aussie sprunch spray can do wonders!!

Frizz-ease, leave-in conditioners, etc. can all tame that frizz too. I'm sorry, but I just can't believe Stevie's allowing these to be the publicity photos. She will always be a beautiful woman, no doubt, but pleeeez, no more "Tusk" hairdos!

:D

Same w/ me. I'm about to send that girl some molding mudd (the best styling product for curly/wavy hair out there).

If she's going to wear it curly at least cut off the ends. They're just dead.
