i just heard that Illume has gotten out.... anyone want to step forward and fess up to having it? :) i am willing to do a nice trade. :)

I did hear that there is a great possibility that "Smile At You" will be leaked very shortly...Just taking the "wait & see approach" here...Brian "Still doesnt know anything" J.

ha ha ha brian ... lets see... if you hear that smile at you MIGHT be leaked soon then you must know of someone who has it.... sounds logical to me.... soooooo fess up. :)

Seeing as i just got blasted for sharing Thrown Down...maybe i shouldn't get excited about there possibly being more stuff out there..seeing as i supposadly ruined it or something...but f**k it..i am..if someone does have it,please share :)

and from my sources this is just a "rumour", But they were right when they said "Thrown Done" was being leaked...Like I said before I don't know nothing nor do I claim to on these songs being leaked, All I knew was that the song/songs were going to be leaked very soon...Brian J.

ps-Like I posted last night, I knew about a week-or-two ago that "Thrown Down" was coming out and I decided to just wait & see because I'm a skeptical person...

I'm not able to get Thown Down . For some reason it keeps getting bounced from my mail box even though I have enough space. And I don't know if I'd go for hearing any others in advance. The only reason I'd listen to Thrown Down is because I've heard the demo so many times. But the others would be completely new and I wouldn't want to ruin the experience... IMO.

What I'm wondering is...
 

Who's leaking the songs. I mean, it has to be someone close to the band, the record company, etc.

I dont find good publicity to leak all the song of the new album, one song is great but all, no good. I think leaking all the songs or a good part of them its a big mistake and in my opinion, it would hurt FM, sales wise.

I'll be happy to here one, in this case Thrown Down.

Well, I finally gotsong! Thank you to Brian for sending it to me. You really saved my day!

The song sounds great to me, although I'm not sure how it'll sound next to Lindsey's GOS songs. Hopefully he's done something new that will help to link the two sounds.

It could be anyone. It could be a secretary in a record company office who was just handed her walking papers & decides to snag a CD-R of Mac material off her boss's desk on her way out the door. It could be one of the engineers who mastered the album, or maybe his rotten kid who is mad at his dad. It could even be a rival record company exec who wants to hurt sales of the Mac album.

So many major releases get leaked nowadays that it's practically a commonplace write-off. The more people involved anywhere along the way in an album (which includes salespeople, engineers, marketing people, accountants & clerks), the more likely it is that the new material will leak.

I'm confused, do people already have Illume or are the people in this thread still requesting Thrown Down?
