Album recomedations?
I really love the songs Lindsey wrote with FM and was wondering if he has good albums, please?
|
Yeah, but I'd only recommend three of them:
Law & Order Go Insane Out Of The Cradle The rest are quite transparent. |
ChiliD, you beat me to it. Let me second that emotion!
|
lol  c'mon he only has five posts, don't scare him off...
|
Just being honest...there's only three Lindsey albums I would recommend!
|
We are just too hardcore for the casual poster, I must say! lol!
Mac Fan baby, you've got some serious research to do, but welcome! We were all Mac infants at one time! |

How does she get on in life??
Good God. Back to the SUBJECT AT HAND I would start with Out of the Cradle. It is EXCELLENT. Just beautiful top to bottom. The other 2 solo albums are great, too. Buy them all at once.

Welcome Mac Fan...
If I were you, I'd listen to Chicken Shack. Listen to Out of the Cradle first, then Go Insane, then Law and Order. It's more..um, digestible that way. At least, for me it was.
In my humble opinion, (<--- get used to THAT word round these parts. LOL), listening to the DIVINE (Out of the Cradle) first will make the quirky (Go Insane and Law and Order) more fun for you!! |
Now Ty, why you would come here just to say Lindsey has no good albums on a Lindsey fan board.
Its like a Lindsey fan going to a Stevie board and saying Bella Donna or TISL sucks major ass. I don't get the need to start trouble my dear:) But to each her/his own! Im just glad Im blessed with the openess to love Lindsey and Stevie. Id do OOTC..out of the cradle...you can get it anywhere and you HAVE to listen to it 5 times before you can really judge it. Go Insane is great too. I have listened to Law and Order maybe 5 times. And I call myself a Lindsey fan ( shock!) :) |
okay ppl relax!

damn! do you ppl read what i post or do you just skim through it? i told macfan that i have never heard the cd. so calm down because it was a joke! yeah that's right i do make jokes. sorry if you didn't find it funny, even though i'm amused by everyone on the ledge! :distress: you ppl really need to lighten up! mimi:) |

Is Buckingham-Nicks any good? and wasn't Chirstine in Chickem Shack? |
The Buckingham Nicks album is a classic. (it's legend has grown over time)
Yes, Christine was in the British blues band "Chicken Shack"...but only on "Forty Blue Fingers Tightly Packed" & "OK, Ken" albums...she left after that, replaced by Paul Raymond, who went on to play in Savoy Brown & UFO. |
Buckingham Nicks is a great album but it's hard to find. You could probably find it at ebay or get one of the bootleg cds somebody has made that I see on there. I don't recommend that, it's not worth the high prices. I haven't heard much of Christine's Chicken Shack days but her two solo albums I think are really good (The Legendary Christine Perfect Album and Christine McVie.)

Why pay some smarmy bootlegger 50x's more than it's worth, when people are MORE than happy to share mp3s for free? (right, Matt?) ;)
|
EXACTLY Chili. Hell, I don't even mind making some cds and sending them to somebody. It's all in the good name of Macfandom!
Matt |
Any of the 3...
are worth recommending, I still trip out from the "D.W.Suite" off the "Go Insane" album (His demos are worth seeking out also, Great stuff!!!)
...And the "Buckingham/Nicks" album is very recommended for some great Lindsey playing...Brian J. |
'Mac Fan' .... (how could that name not have been taken already??? LOL)
ANYWAY, Yes get OUT OF THE CRADLE (O.O.T.C.) I live in Brisbane, Australia. I had to order mine in from some warehouse in the states. I don't think OOTC is still in print? Anyway mine arrived a few weeks ago. I had already got mst of the tracks on mp3 but I really wanted the CD and cover/book. I'm so thankful I've finally got it. Just another addition to my slowly growing collection of Mac CDs. (Btw I had spare money on my CD voucher so I got The Dance DVD - now i just need a DVD drive for my computer lol!) !!!!!!!DON''T LOOK DOWN!!!!!!! follow the sound... |
The Lindsey Admiration Ledge!!!
Hey Joe from Australia! You summed up this silly:eek:
thread in just a few well chosen Lindsey WORDS!:) "Maybe Iam wrong but who's to say what's right?" THANKS MATE!!! I appreciate your fine answer!:D :blob2: LINDSEY RULES THIS LEDGE!:blob2: |
Thanks for all of your help, I might get OOTC soon.(If I can find it)
|
you can find it at most record stores, or online.
