Sorry, I went for whitey *ducking*...

It's not that I don't like the songs on it, but I can't get rid of Tusk or Rumours, *YET*, and I have to keep The Dance now because of the live ISA, SIlver Springs, and the kickass banjo Say You Love Me...:)

:lol: I'm sorry...it's my most favourite Mac album! I just love it...all of it! Okay, except Sugar Daddy...:distress:

I voted for Tusk...I just don't really listen to it. Or else I skip around a lot.

And I think we all know who's gonna win, am I right?! ;)

WHY the white album. And why tusk. Take them tusk votes and vote for the dance. How come this album is still here. Yeah it was the big reunion that started their current comeback trail, but the album itself pales in comparision to the other three ORIGINAL gems. everyone seemed to agrre on the fall of live 80. How is the dance that much different. I personally perfer live 80, with the older live songs, and FIREFLIES with it.

This was nearly impossible!! I didn't want to...but I voted for Tusk. It was either that, or the Dance...but the Dance has Silver Springs. Oh, but then Tusk has Storms, and Angel, and Beautiful Child, and....AGHH!! This is tough!:( :eek: :D LOL! Maybe I just won't vote next time. :laugh:

don't you guys get it. The dance is just the new live album.

LOL....I get it!! BUT!! (And that's a VERY big 'but'!!:D ) The Dance has that kick @$$ Silver Springs on it. I just couldn't vote it off. For that reason alone!! LOL.:D

Sure we get it. I like The Dance. I like it a lot. I like it better than the Live '80 album. I love the live versions of songs on The Dance...I couldn't vote for it. Not yet, anyways!

and reconciliation for The Five Fireflies!

Both Live 80 and the Dance have their key points. Really, we need a combination of the two. For instance, The Chain not on the original live album is annoying. Along with the missing title track of the tour that the album is 'supposed' to be from. But it has some great tracks, including Rhiannon, Fireflies, and ISA.

The Dance has a lackluster Rhiannon. Also, some of the best tracks were left off (Gypsy and GDW) but makes up with it I think anyway, with songs like Everywhere, Big Love, Landslide, Silver Springs, and the whole Tusk/Don't Stop USC segment.

I also have the Dance video, with all them songs. I was just refering to the actual released CD. Also, just want to add that I'm not a Dance hater. Actually, I love the Dance, and compared to some other 'reunion' sets, it is the best. I just think that as with the live album, it has it's positives and negatives. :)

I voted for White Album because all in all, I can listen to Dance over and over ( so much I wore out the cd) and White album I don't listen to much at all. Dance means the world to me, its the whole reason Im a fan in the first place!!!!! DONT VOTE IT OFF!

The White Album
 

This was the album that brought me into the Mac...like the Dance was for sooo many, sooo many years later. I guess you could call this the battle of the albums that introduced a new fan base into the Mac.....the battle of the generations.

I can certainly appreciate what the Dance did for Fleetwood Mac in 1997...it was a great reunion...one we never thought would take place. And yes, "Silver Springs" finally made it front and center.

BUT for me, the White Album will always be #1. It was the FIRST LP I ever bought...LOL. I must have played that thing a million times, and it shows. Where else can you find songs like "World Turning"(one of my favorite Mac songs ever), "Blue letter"(Lindsey singes on this one), and "Crystal"(one of the best S/L romance songs )...... not to mention the HITS...."Over My Head", "Rhiannon, and "Say You Love Me". It was the album that introduced us to Lindsey's guitar prowess on "I'm So Afraid"(the GUITAR GOD) and Stevie's beautiful "Landslide"...a song that would become a "hit" in its' own right. I think this will always be my favorite Mac album...win or lose......but, if you love me vote for the Dance and if you hate me, well ignore this post.......:laugh:

How do you vote off any of this albums.

My first reaction was to vote off The White Album, but then realized thats the one who have Landslide, Rhiannon, I'm So Afraid, World Turning.

Then I thought The Dance because its basically Rumours, but then :laugh: I realized this is the comeback album of FM and it has new songs that I really liked. This album has special meaning to me because the Dance tour was the first time I saw FM Live.

Well...

I CANT MAKE OF MY MIND!!! Somebody give any reason to vote one of this albums off.

A vote for the white album means you'll break the hearts of people like me, jwd, and granuaile. Plus it's SOOOOO good

a vote for rumours is the easy way out cause it means NOTHING.

a vote for tusk is not going to do much

BUT a vote for the dance will make some of us SOOOOOOOOOOO happy.

So in conclusion PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE VOTE FOR THE DANCE.
