This really made me laugh

We commented in another thread about how AI posts announce fake tours of different artists. This one really make me laugh, not only because of the ugly faces (in this case the artificial was not so intelligent) but also because of the lineup, and the tour title.

And I was going to ask who is next to Christine? Until I read the post and realized they pretend it is Peter. Well if that is Peter I am Napoleon.

The only intelligent thing is that they guessed that John wouldn't accept.

I've seen ads for tribute bands that bear better resemblances.

"Silver Storm" indeed.

PUHLEASE, let's not allow AI in here.

Fukcing ridiculous garbage.

Street_Dreamer 07-04-2025 05:46 PM

This. Please.

Thanks Villavic! Please keep it up!

jbrownsjr 07-07-2025 02:01 PM

Those photos are hilarious!!

Villavic 07-07-2025 03:02 PM

In this one it seems Stevie and Juice Newton were fused thru The Fly telepods

Boy, it really does a nice job with her outfits.

Villavic 07-08-2025 06:59 AM

It seems Stanley Tucci will join the band for the 2026 tour.

And I think everyone looks upset after seeing that supposed Rumours cover next to Christine. Or is it Jane Goodall?

BigAl84 07-08-2025 09:30 AM

All of these are still light years better than Chris Nicks' photoshop merch skills.

Macfan4life 07-08-2025 09:51 AM

Where is Sheryl Crow?

Villavic 07-08-2025 09:52 AM

But I think the worse was Kristin Burns, the In Your Dreams photograher. That woman is anyone but Stevie Nicks.

I edited the songs files in my iPod Touch to change that picture. I couldn't stand it.

Although I'm a big fan, I don't support the idea of sculpting a "Mount Rushmore" monument for the band.

Not that I'm looking for it. I guess Facebook's algorithm learns that I've clicked on previous similar posts and shows me more on the same (fake) topic. I find them funny anyway.

"Gross" is the only way to describe it!

HomerMcvie 07-09-2025 12:31 PM

If you're posting AI garbage here, you're part of the problem.

The third one more resembles the old woman on the Mirage cover than it does Chris.

The complete biography

Now looking at the cover, this is definitely the definitive and most reliable biography.

That is a strange one. The guy on the top left looks like a young Bob Geldof, the guy on the top right could be an amalgam of Bob Weston and Bob Welch.

fecking hilarious.... Stanley is now a foodie, so why not in the band too. Though it's entirely unclear what instrument he would possibly be playing. Second tambo??

On a more serious note, has anyone else been a bit unnerved by the nonsense that a whole new generation is coming up with regarding this band? All sorts of half-assed sh*t that bears little resemblance to reality....people will SWEAR up and down their "expertise" about this band and I'm not sure exactly whose ass they've pulled it out of, but....

yeah that's an unsettling phenomenon. fans for a week based on a tiktok clip and yet somehow experts on all things mac related. very irritating to those of us who have kind of devoted our lives to it

Yes the photos are horrible but I love the name of the tour: Moonlit Mirage Farewell Tour.
I can almost hear Sheryl Crow warming up.

Not only regarding this band. In general, social media is full of fake info and theories. Just for example, I follow a mexican traveler youtuber that went with Oceangate to the Titanic in 2022. After the 2023 tragedy, he wrote that he was horrified by all the lies that were being written about the tragedy, without any basis in fact, when there was not even a single investigation yet. Similar to what I've read about the Air India accident, full of sh*t, and the black boxes had not even been analyzed.

I'm sure this has always happened. There are countless articles from the 70s and 80s in newspapers and magazines with absurd stories and even infamy about Elton John, Travolta, Princess Diana, etc.

The difference is that now it's not just magazines, but any person who writes on social media. And you don't need to buy a newspaper; just click on it and you're already reading lies that many people think are true.

The photos are more flattering than what they actually look like, except they’re not smiling.

I personally hate it that people are posting AI crap here now. I put AI in the same category as fan fiction.

OMG...... I got a chance to see the play based on them... Stereophonic... at the beginning of June..... I have been hoping to find the time to write something about it to post on here......it was FULL of total fecking ****e... the writer used some real events but made the characters absolutely........fecking terrible and unrecognizable personalities.

"John" was a crying, whining loser baby and stupid..... "Lindsey" pressured "Stevie" to have a baby with him.... the whole thing was just AWFUL.

but I did get to see Christine's (former) house in Belgravia (just from outside) and got some pics like the geek that I am.

Yes, I agree. But has it really appeared with this new generation? I remember reading fake news, nonsense gossip, sh*t about actors, bands, etc. since tabloids exist. There's an album out there called Rumours for a reason. And don't tell there were just innocent, kind rumours.

The difference is that now it is not an exclusive thing of press, magazines, etc. It's everywhere, and anyone can write it. And when I say anyone, I mean not just the Gen Z.

it's gone to more epic proportions in recent years. there have always been shippers, but this is a whole new level of just disregarding facts...if they even know the facts. They know one very limited version of revisionist history based on the stage antics of the band which the band themselves have admitted is purely performance essentially to feed the shippers and such. They don't know any of the factual history, like not even a little. It's pure made up nonsense. And heaven help you if you actually cite a real fact.....

And they don’t even bother to watch that many stage performances. They watch about 3 on YouTube and all their speculation is based on that.

They don't seem to appreciate hearing facts. i am always frowning in bewilderment when i read their accounts of what they think happened. it's draining lol

This one is supposed to be "fleetwood mac rumours album cover painted in the van gogh art style". Well if this is AI I think it is not enough intelligent. I've not seen this shot in any of the Rumours photo sessions. The three guys have the same face, though I can tell which one is Mick just by the hat. But which is Stevie and which is Christine?
