Love this!!

I can’t believe how good this sounds!

I never liked the song in its finished form. It, along with Who’s Dreaming This Dream, is my least liked track on the album. But hearing her voice in isolation shows how good she is handling the vocals—and amazingly the very high notes. So, perhaps my dislike has to do with the arrangement.

Through the years, I’ve come to realize Christine sounds best when there’s less business and less layers.

I agree. The a capella versions change a lot the perception I have of many songs.

They say, I’m a silly pact

This is really cool although I was hoping it was something we had not heard before. This just makes me want more and the Todd Sharp interview comes to mind. I know the album was not successful enough to have a reissue. But can you imagine the stuff that was left on the cutting room floor or things that were recorded and on someone's shelf. Good grief Eric Clapton got to pick what song he played on and was sampling the songs.
I always liked the video album of her singing The Challenge live. It has just a raw punch that the album version does not have and its so good.
