Ticket Prices
Stevie is coming to the Hollywood Hard Rock in February 2024. I was curious about ticket prices. OMG. The cheapest ticket at the last row of the arena is $255. Tickets on the side of the arena on the stage side $1725. 10 rows back is over $2000. Second row is $4900.
These are all per ticket. When I saw her 24K Gold tour in 2017, I paid about $350 for the side of the stage. The Hollywood arena went on sale today after 2 days of pre-sale and most seats are already sold. Seats cost $832 in the mid-arena level. For the love of God, who can afford $1600 for crappy mid arena seats? |
Don't trust Ticketmaster. They're crooks. I got a VIP ticket for Carrie Underwood early this year for $125. The show was sold out or close to it. I waited to the day of the show to buy the ticket. Earlier in the day the same ticket for going for $600+. I don't like waiting to the last minute, but I'm definitely not paying those prices. It's a shame what has happened to the concert business.

Nope, sure can't. I've resigned myself to the ides that I probably won't see her live again. I've sprung for a couple of front-row seats before but at $5k a piece, it feels silly. How much $$ is that per minute?? Too much + she's further back from the audience than ever, no Edge walk, security guards are ruder than ever, and beers are $20 a piece. Seems like a racket.

And far back meaning they have a barrier up? |

Look at these ticket prices. Click on something mid-arena and its $1064.00 PER TICKET 10 rows back and its $3,100.00 PER TICKET
Not even great seats but not bad seats. Concert is 4 months away and its almost sold out Hollywood FL https://www.ticketmaster.com/stevie-...005F34BFB7124B |

Completely stupid to pay those prices. Ridiculous.

During her Enchanted tour all ticket prices were the same. You had to go to separate ticket vendors for great seats. Anyone remember frontrowusa? I remember for $350 I got 8 rows back and still was able to get involved in the Edge walk. I scratch my head and say, who can afford these houses, these cars, and now concert tickets. If your brought a date to this concert and got mid-arena seats, it would cost you $2000.00 not including parking, shirts, program, or dinner. For $2000.00 I want to be able to shower with the artist. I personally like to sing in the shower and I would love to have a competitive Edge of 17 howl with her. |

I would wait to buy. Those prices will go down. I bought my tickets for the Houston show the week they went on sale. A month before the show, seats in the same section were $100 cheaper.
I'm wondering if promoters want to charge more money for concert tickets to see legend status artists who are at the end of their career. |

Memphis
Hello, I just decided to go to Memphis this past weekend. I kept looking at tickets and front row was $1500. I checked again the morning of the show and it was down to $270 so I scored a front row ticket! She put on a great show in my opinion. I was too tired of the set list, but she took me away to another place like I always remembered.

I watched a few clips on YouTube I think she sounds the best she has for a long time… We have to remember she is 75. |

How was Stevie's mobility? Did she walk the stage during Edge of Seventeen (not shake hands). Any twirls throughout the show? |
She did not move a lot, mostly just occasional circles around her mic stand. She did do the crack dance right in front of me, but held her back on the way back to her mic! Some twirls but very slow. It is what I expected to see.

No Edge of Seventeen walk.

I don't remember how much the ticket was of the 1997 The Dance show I went (NYC), but looking for old prices, I found a page with U2 shows ticket prices: The 1987 Joshua Tree tour ticket prices comes out to $17.11 on average. In 2001 $65.83 on average. 2017: average of $116.97. The minimum price of a general admission ticket on the tour was $70. 2018: average of $136.40 per ticket with the minimum face-value cost being $80.50. I know first row seats cost far more than those numbers, but I don't think mid arena seats cost thousands of dollars. |

Even if you could afford a ticket and wanted to go, is there not a better use of $1800 than a concert you can watch on youtube? That's some people's mortgage payment or rent. These are not for great seats. They are mid-arena. The cheapest Eagles ticket I saw was $800. Stevie's was $350 at the last row on the top of the arena. |
I just got laid off after 12 years and this just sickens me. Absolutely makes me sick.
|
$1800 for the Eagles is an absolute joke. Scaled down repetitive setlist, no Glenn, and seriously degraded vocals. Ain’t NO FREAKIN WAY! I love them but I’ve seen them plenty of times and can spend that cash on a lot of better things. And I’m not a buy them last second sort of guy. I’m very tall and like an aisle seat with extra leg room. Those prices are shameful.

I want to say I paid $300 last time I saw them. Kind of middle floor in front of the soundboard. |

I saw the Eagles in '02/'03 on their FIRST Farewell Tour :] We had 75.00 nosebleed seats and moved down to the lower bowl because there were large blocks of empty seats that were unsold. It was a great show, but never had the urge to see them again since. Beyond them performing Hotel California as a whole, they've largely done the same show for decades.
Joe Walsh was the only one that appeared to not be on complete auto-pilot. The rest of the band was as robotic as it could get. I saw a clip on youtube a few years ago of them performing Hotel California and it seemed like the tempo had really slowed down. |

Hey, he's 76, what can we expect? I'd say he's doing pretty good for 76. |

Here is the million dollar question.
I definitely would not pay any of these prices to see Stevie or the Eagles. Would you pay $1800 if you could go back in time and get good seats for the Rumours, Tusk or Mirage concert? I would! And I think it would be worth every penny. |
